Bepannaah. Some thoughts, 4th April 2018~ Big, yet, little girl lost!
Too much familial protection can lead to children lacking in certain worldy experiences where, intuition, common sense, certain prudence is needed. Today's episode reveals more about Zoya's unwarranted simplicity, where she finds herself in a bit of a pickle. Words like stupid , dense, painfully naive! without reservation come to my mind. Red light area she may have heard about , but to find herself in it , can be an honest mistake. She wouldn't know what the area looks ,like, or how the ladies of the night appear?? Who would have told her? She clearly had a cloistred existence. Besides in her household, I would imagine there was no reason to discuss such seedy areas or how sordid professionals there earned a living. It was just not the proper ladies topic to discuss or reference points to discuss,in her type of household.
Can this be said then, that Zoya is unaware of danger or deception? She is easily duped,tricked and perhaps lacks, social awareness?? Is unable to differentiate between people due to her gullible simplicty??? I would still like to believe her heart is in the right place. It 's just that her mind could do with intuitive reasoning. Bad boys, making passes and dirty suggestions to her she wouldn't know about . Her father perhaps shielded her from such unpleasentries? After all she was no riff raff.. Seems dear Zoya lacks much knowledge of the real world.. But bad boys, seeing her alone in the dead of night in the red light area ,cannot help but think... She maybe a rich lost lady, easily tricked into hitching a lift. For her, its just what she needed, a lift home! Her folly was she had no reason to doubt their sincerity, especially if another girl too was hitching a lift off them. But the problem is Zoya cannot work out if they were friends or foes?? Their true designs and what they thought off her, just didn't dawn on her. She was only swamped by getting home! Was she then a bag of nerves? Which made her intelligence foggy??
Trust her to be lost.. lost she is indeed to the ways of the world. Pity her innocence ,rather blind simplicity that makes her easliy fleecable by the wily ways of the world. Her vulnerability or gullible simplicity makes her trust the wrong people. Unwittingly her bag and phone ends up in Mahi's control.. things were meant to go wrong then for Zoya. The conniving Mahi ideally wanted Zoya to get lost! end up in a maze of confusion!!
Thank heavens! Adi turns up and retrives Zoya from a potentially dangerous situation. Only he with his inimitable panache blocks the car , intervenes by bad mouting her before the bad boys! Telling them she lies and takes guys for a ride and lands them behind cells at the station! take it from him ,she did so to him,as she traps people with her sob story but really she is police informer! She owes him money too ,and now she's using them to make a quick getaway from him.. He sneers at her before he pulls out of the car... You are my prey ,did you think I' ll let you escape from me??? The bad boys vrooomed off as soon as Adi saves her.. no one makes tall tales like Aditya Hooda .. few can take him for a ride.. but one sure did! and made his restless brain function in cruise control!
Adi lets all hell loose upon her.. her thickness, unwariness , damned gulllibity drives him insane. How can she be so worldy unwise?? How can she be born yesterday!! ! She confessed sh e heard his cabs horn blare, but declined his lift , as she wished to get home fast . Its Aditya who forces her to open her blinkers and look around and note she is in the redlight area! and those nice blokes where not giving her a lift out of the goodness of their hearts , but that they assumed she was a damned hooker... hell! Dumb queen! He gives up and sits in the rear of the cab.. leaves the rear door open for her! The penny drops for Zoya at last! and she dashes frightened on the rear seat next to him!
She may be all the shaming names he bellowed at her. But Zoya still gives praise where its due, despite the animosity bewteen them. She tenders sincere thanks to arrogant ,bad tempered,foulmouthed Aditya for saving her life. It's even now? she too saved his life from being run over! Adi gives her a sided look and reminds her nothing has changed between them,he is keen and oh so mean! For he only he has the sole right to inundate her with full on devastaion ! that's why he saved her from those scavegers! so he can destroy her slowly and gradually! See her life go up in a bonfire!
Out of all the songs, the one song that reminds them of their dead spouses plays on.. FB's remind us of their past.. Zoya spontanously exclaims this was Yash's favourite song. Aditya reacts by mocking her.. foolish! Utterly foolish woman! Clings on to fidelity of her cheater husband. For him its more than he can take, gets the cab stopped and gets off! Cannot bear another second with this easliy taken in! idiotic woman! Surly pays the cabbie to drop the lady home!
He needed to have a good cry on his own... that stupid widow is right .His heart too shatters at that song. It belonged to him and Pooja exclusively... he drops down to his knees, but thier song was not theirs after all! Pooja even divided , the song like she partitioned their lives!
As much as Zoya is easy to fool , Mahi is astute and streetwise. She doesn't even need to test the boundaries with Zoya as Mahi knows exactly where her susceptible bhabi stands. Mahi even largely influences her mothers opinions about Zoya. For once though, Yash's mother shows concern about Zoya out on the streets without money or mobile,feels responsible for Zoya . Mahi is quick with her snide catty remarks, worry not she will return after hooking up someone rich. Seems,to me its what Mahi would like! catch a loaded guy! Quite a scene Mahi enacts when a hysterical Zoya returns.. whatever she taunts Zoya about her keeping her phone and bag,purposely is true! But she is smart enough to know that Zoya darn't confess she wanted her lost. I wouldn't be surprised if Mahi tries to catch Adi in the tangled web of deception she weaves. Hugging an emotionally truamatized Zoya to smooth her ruffled feathers.. the hug is treacherous amied to lull the easily duped Zoya.. to add to Zoya' stress she asks her to rest.. she has an event to organize all by hereslf , she muses that will be remembered in times to come asworst disaaster in history. In her gullible simplicity, Zoya falls for Mahi's hypocritical ,totally fake words, misjudging her sister in law grossly. I wonder if Mahi will try to sabotge the event??.. Zoya for her own sake is in need of some discernment skills.
Down at the station , Arjun dupes, the police and his dad's lawyer in pilfering Pooja's private diary from the evidence room! smart move! Harsh Hooda's living off dad son, makes a move to out smart his influential father! I have high hopes from this young warrior Arjun in his yudh!
Well well! The drunk ,swaggering son returns home sloshed on local booze! Humming that wretched.. song..don't leave yet.. the heart remains discontent! How much he loathes the song, reminds him he too was blinded in love like that foolish girl! His father receives Adi disdainfully, yells for his wife to deal with her son! He mocks his father, insinuates ,his father is a cheater, yet he has an ideal wife! obeys orders and predominately stays mute! Ideal wife material. Sakshi watches Adi in a right state and muses, had she mentioned the truth, things might have not escalated to this level! Her silence sure did create a split within this family.
For me, its welcoming to see Adi cryng ,breaking down. Its a positive sign. He is going through the grieving process. Getting things off his chest, as opposed to going into denial about what happened. It has to be a good thing..now that his grieving is underway,hopefully some of his bitternes will be expelled from within him. Zoya by her words,deeds and actions..prompts him to face his recent painful experiences.
The egg scene is another past memory of Pooja , triggered by a present need to crack an egg and create something better! In the kitchen Adi recalls how she had compared relationships to the fragility of an egg! Now bitterly he squashes the egg shell and contents in his wide palm.. yes she had talked about handling bonds with care.. only to break them without fore warning! On a pensive note ,did their relationship crack like the egg shell.. only to give way for a healthier ,better omelette with a fresh egg.. Adi and Zoya??? A new relationship? An egg that will crack to make something new?
New relationship, will take time. Zoya literally boxes memorabilia related to Yash. Its like she boxes him in her heart. Besides, she still has a pending task of proving her dead husband's innocence.. that he was not having an affair! That he was faithful to her! something Adi is hell bent to confirm to her! foolish woman! your Yash was a cheat! You couldn't see it ,like he couldn't see his Pooja was a cheat too!
Is it a coincidence?they both dislike strawberries.. and in this episode they continue to seem as apart and disimilar like before. Yet they both cut their hands and bleed too.. miles apart from each other.. yes Adi and Zoya are poles apart,chalk and cheese,yet they are somehow joined by a smarting, pain, grief.. a bond of anguish! Perhaps destined to provide healing to each other in some unexplained way? in times ahead .. hamlet53 5.4.18
