Sahil is looking so badass in his current avatar is a treat to watch. But, beneath all that he is anything but happy. The boy is totally crushed and shattered since Vedika led him on, deceived him and broke her promise to him. His feelings and emotions are shown so subtly, the way he burns the photos of Vedika, his FBs of her rejecting him after he comes home and his FBs of her telling him that Nidhi is his wife when he has Vedika pinned to the wall. He moves away from her when he remembers her final statement of "Nidhi is now your wife", during the marriage. As if knowing how sanskari his Vedika is, respecting her values, but also deeply hurt by what she has done to him and the situation she has put him in. My boy leaves no opportunity in telling her that does he? Gives her that accusing look when Badi Amma thrusts Nidhi on him, total couple feels, he is mad at his wife and she looking guilty and unsure.
Opposites attract and these two are total opposites but complement each other so well. She calms him and he brings joy in her life. She puts everyone ahead of her, he puts her ahead of everyone else. Such a beautiful pair they are. She only goes by the rules and he will break all rules to achieve what he thinks is right. He shouts his love to the whole world and hers is conveyed to him in silence.
Vedika is right where she stands, she is thinking about the future, their life will never be smooth and she will age and he will lose out on a lot of things that he should enjoy. When Vedika first met Sahil, she thought him to be a rogue. She soon saw the good and the vulnerable side in him and started caring about him, without conscious thought. Vedika's life has been a constant set of struggles, we do not know her back story, am sure the cvs will have one. But, since her husband passed away, she has been struggling with the roles of a mother, provider and daughter. Having a load of responsibility on her head that never seems to end. It is only with Sahil that she has had a glimpse of lighter moments, of happiness, of unconditional love. Infact no one ever dares to question or go against her, only Sahil does it and can actually get away with too. Sahil could always shake her up, he does that first with his declaration of love followed by the accident, V'day proposal asking her to marry him, Arya's kidnapping etc. Subsequent events make her go from understanding that she is irrevocably in love with him to the fact that she cannot leave him and if she tried to leave, he would never let her go; Vedika understands that she cannot keep denying him what he wants, when it comes to Sahil she is very vulnerable the same way he is with her. He pulls her to him the same way she pulls him to her.
Vedika, bottles up her emotions for Sahil, suppresses them in front of Sahil, because she strongly feels that knowing about it is not going to help him live his life to the fullest and it is only going to get society to name her a child snatcher. Both these are strong points, combine that with her interpretation of what she considers to be good for Sahil, makes her say yes to deceive him at the altar, she would go to any extent to do what was good for Sahil and given that it is what his family approved off too, she did do the unthinkable. Betray Sahil, thinking that she was being cruel to be kind. But she was equally being cruel to herself too.
But, it does take a toll on her, every step that Sahil took with the pheres her heart was breaking, her gesture of covering herself with the saree to try to sooth the pain she was feeling was pitiful. Because she was not only losing him but also betraying him. How much, not in control she was after Sahil hugs her and refuses to accept the marriage, swearing in front of God that Vedika will be his wife, till his death. She could not look him in the eye a lot of times and towards the end after his declaration she just decides to leave and when he pulls her back, it totally hits Vedika and she could not take it anymore and she just leaves without meeting his eyes.
This lady needs to see to what extent Sahil will go to prove to all and sundry that he will not leave his Vedika at any cost. He has matured a lot since the marriage, the marriage has really destroyed him. If he gives up and thinks Vedika will not be his anymore, he will have no will to live. He is so into her, if only she understands what she already knows at heart.
Sahil is not going to give her or anyone the chance to take a decision for him. He will do what he knows is right for them, as her husband, he will protect and care for her, the way she deserves to be. When he comes to her drunk and passes out, there was this moment she glances at him before making the call to his family. His hand moves, don't know why but, that scene reminded me of the episode where she checks his breathing every 10 minutes to know if he was alive, she makes the call after seeing him move. Sending him to the family was made out of duty and doing what was right, but deep within she wants to hold on to him keep him close to her but suppresses those emotions.
When he pins her to the wall and gives her a glimpse of what their life could be, even with their differences and flaws, her guard comes off, takes her a lot of time and will to get her composure back and see how that single "Vedika ji" shatters that hard gained composure all over 😊. She still does not ask him to leave, he makes the offer to her and he totally knows what she is feeling, he can read her heart as well as she can his. Does she really want him to leave, Hell NO!. But then the stickler for rules that Vedika is will not be able to keep him with her either. So, it has to be Sahil, the Pati the Parmeshwar, that would need to show to Vedika, his family and society that he is here to stay, his real wife can and will only be Vedika.
He has no need to force her, she is already head over heels in love with him, is much affected by his proximity and cares too much for him. But he sure needs to prove to her that no matter what she or anyone else does, it is only HER and no one else for him. He is not here for a youthful body but is craving for the person, without whom he simply cannot exist.
I am happy that their marriage is not going to happen soon. She need to accept Sahil as her husband and grow to depend on him. See him as her lover, before the yes comes. This track is perfect cause, inspite of a supposed wife, Sahil will only be Vedika's husband. She will get to see first hand how the perfect partner is totally irrelevant to him. This track will also bring out the possessive side of Vedika. She will die if she sees him being close to Nidhi. Its one thing to let him go, staying away from him and another thing, to watch it all happen in front of her eyes. Sahil is going to force Vedika to face herself. Staying away from each other will destroy them both.
Something else that I keep forgetting to post. Vedikas prayer after she comes home after the marriage. She is worried and very uneasy... She asks God to give her strength and Sahil the capacity to accept this change. Then she says the cominj morning should bring in good omen to both... She prays for them together like a couple... And guess what, Sahil comes home just 5 min before 12 and leaves in the morning only to come back to her again, this time to live with her, that after breaking the mooh dikhai 😆
One more thing that I'd wanted to mention was Suhasi's act during the Arya kidnap track, when Vedika dresses Sahils wounds and says to his sleeping form she is not going to be with Sahil anymore... her lips quiver... it is too painful for her to distance herself from him even then. Watch that scene if you can... SD was simply amazing there!!
