We meet outside the court and Sid's eyes lock with Anushka's until she lifts the window of her side to look away from him 😆 Sweety Ji is the cutest lol, he's the perfect foil for Sid's hard character. He seems to bring out the soft mischevious side we know Sid has, but seldom see.
Sidhanth then very confidently announces to the media who he is, and that he's representing Srikanth as well as the fact that he's not worried whatsoever because Srikanth is innocent 😆 He's even bold enough to look behind him straight to Anushka as he announces this. As if this is all for her benefit in the first place. They walk away from the media and Anushka calls out Sidhanth for calling the media. Which turns into a bawl about Anushka not trusting Sidhanth and only her father's judgment. Sidhanth admits with zero hesitance that he did, in fact, call the media, not only because if he's doing something so big the world should know but also because it would help the case.
I have to say Sidhanth's little quip about Judge Bansal being his father in law to be, his little nok jhok attitude with Sweety Ji, his swag on full display. I LOVE lawyer Sidhanth 😆 Did anyone else notice just how fun he is when he's playing a pretense of arrogance but is instead fully confident? He seems to be so in his own atmosphere and he's just awesome when he's in the courtroom. I love it so much.
On the other hand, we see KK seeing his son's court case come to light and him having to address it in front of the media masses. KK seems very shaken by the accusations and the fact that it's gone to court. KK says with complete confidence that if Srikanth is found guilty he will not be the head of the trust and instead it will be Prabhakar Sinha. He says with complete integrity that Prabhakar's clean image is known to the masses and no one is capable of doubting so. Again, I love this friendship. KK can lose faith in his own son but not in Prabhakar it seems.
Sidhanth ko maska lagana aata hai 😆 His little banter with judge Bansal was such a perfect light note to the episode! The courtroom gets straight into the case, no time wasted, which from a writing and viewer standpoint I commend. Prabhakar tells Anushka that he's on his way to the courtroom and one can only sit on the edge of their seat to see what Prabhakar will do. The prosecutor accusing Srikanth of using his father's money to believe he would be let off easy and you can visibly see Srikanth flinch in his seat. He's uncomfortable with the accusations because Srikanth knows it to be true.
Sidhanth's time to shine comes and shine he does. He's so confident, so self-assured and it's so ridiculously attractive 😆 He shuts down every single one of the prosecutor's accusations with varying evidence and already thought out interventions. Sidhanth very keenly points out that the media arrived of their own merit, possibly from the tip-off of individuals who want Srikanth to fail. This really was such a smart idea, this boy definitely has the brains to succeed.
We finally arrive at the scene we've been waiting for and have seen a thousand times over in the recent promos, Sidhanth's infamous swallowing of 'cheeni'. Everyone looks on in shock and Sidhanth, for extra dramatic measure, downs the powder with a glass of water. He overzealously looks to the crowd to procure the fact that he seems to be fine.
The precap shows Sid falling unconscious and this boy is just so much 😆 Why is he like this? How much will this hurt the case and/or Sidhanth? I'm wondering what's going to happen next for this boy!
