Talking to a leading publication, Ms Ranaut said, "When I was fighting for equal pay, many women from my industry started fake articles that they are getting this, that. They started hiking their salaries through their PRs. They do not understand how they are harming themselves. What (change) can happen like this- by running someone down and overriding their cause with your own personal agendas? We have got to collectively fight for it. Women have such an inferior complex that they genuinely believe ki itna mil raha hai bahot hai, aur kya chahiye tumko (You are already getting so much. Why do you want more?)
She also added that the problem arises because of the inferiority complex within themselves. The 31-year-old actress revealed, "Here are women in the industry who say that if actresses are unable to bring in crowds [in a theatre] that a male star can, how can they demand equal pay. If we, as actresses, keep instilling this inferiority complex in girls, there is no hope for better times."
But none of the Indian actresses made this comment, rather it was SALMAN KHAN WHO SAID IT on the equal pay dialogue. Now the question is why would she blame women, specially Indian actresses, when none of them have ever made this remark. well known Indian actresses like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, kareena Kapoor , Vidya Balan who have always demanded equal or higher pay than their male stars.
"
According to a report published in Hindustan Times, the Dabangg' Khan opines that all this discussion over unequal pay for the actresses in b******t talk. Salman Khan says, "The question is, who is pulling those people into a theatre? If a female star is getting those many people and the producer is making money, the exhibitor and distributor are all making money, then obviously they (female actors) will get that much money ... but if it's a male star, then he will get it.
Adding to his strong statement, Salman quipped, "There are so many male stars who get a lot less than many female stars ... there are male stars in the Rs 1 to 3 crore bracket, and there are lots of female stars in the Rs 5 to 7 crore bracket ... that's also there, right? Uske bare mein koi kyun nahi bolta? So this whole female stars-male stars debate is bulls**t. Whoever is selling, and as much he or she is selling, will get that much.
