First things first, my observations and concerns in today's episode apart from the IshRa scenes :-
There were a couple of places, where I strongly felt Raman got to know that Ishita was his wife earlier too and he even remembers vaguely certain incidents from their married life. I may be wrong, but this is what I felt from today's episode :-
1. He remembers Ishita's hungama at the police station few years back when she was drunk and the fact that she goes crazy when she is drunk. According to him until a few days back, he just knows that he met Ishita only recently in Budapest. Then how can he remember her being with him few years back and these incidents?😕. Him vaguely remembering random incidents, means he might also remember that he married Ishita earlier but only for the sake of Ruhi and not actually wanted to get married to her. That is why in the cruise, he said "jab mein pehli baar tumse mila, i did not like you" and he did not say "jab humari shaadi hui thi, i did not like you". So I feel he meant the first meeting and marriage and not the recent one and now he knows Ishita was his wife.😕
2. Then when they exchanged the promises, the reference to TV remote & her sleep being disturbed, the reference to her asking silly questions in the midst of a movie, all this indicates that he remembers few incidents of them as husband & wife in the past too, because clearly nothing such happened after their recent marriage😕.
3. As we discussed, before the song sequence, Raman is worried that he is getting to breath, live his life now and happy being with her, but fears what if he forgets this too in the future and he is upset that he does not remember major part of his past and the moments he has spent in his life, with her. That again was an indication for me, that he knows Ishita was his wife earlier too.
To me that is the reason, he is beginning to ease out and be the same old Raman, at comfort, at ease, being himself, with her and his old dialogues are also back.
Now in these two years, he had lost his memory and had no purpose in life, but now him beginning to live a new lease of life with her, wanting to live a life with her, his fears of losing her, the memories again are understandable. This is precisely why , I always wanted to see some medications, counselling etc being part of his treatment and recovery, rather than a mere honeymoon for 2 weeks, just stopping medicines and with in two days, he miraculously gets to vaguely remember random things, but constantly lives in a fear😔. I thought Ishita being a doctor, would be atleast shown to have a phone conversation with that psychiatrist for the treatment, create incidents from the past & take him for counselling sessions. But no, she is kept occupied curiously running behind a mystery girl and finding details about her.
I really wish instead of taking this insensitive route, it would have been better if they have taken the route, where Raman's memory comes back gradually. But as we feared, they are rushing up Raman's recovery only to focus on Ishita and her suffering and she is getting tortured and the man whose illness was the point of focus for 5 months, who is yet to recover, is all forgotten and his illness gone in the wind and is in a magical road to recovery, but lives with a constant fear🥱and not even Ishita bothered about the process or road to proper recovery😕🥱. She is just happy he is vaguely remembering things and hopes he would be fine one day😕. That does not sit well with me frankly. Also what is the purpose of torturing her also mentally with this nonsense when she is just recovering from an eye transplantation and would be physically weak too? 😕🥱. This lack of sensitivity irks me, even if I try to look past all these issues and just watch the trip for the sake of IshRa and them getting to spend some time with each other in the name of HM after so many years of marriage.🤔.
