Raman was laying on the bed and was thinking about ishita .
Raman -kitni strong hai yeh ladki, itna sab kuch ho gaya iski zindagi mein, still she was smiling. I tried to bring difference between her and her grandparents still she didn't complained. Even I hurt her alot still she was silent. I am really ishita, Maine tumhe bahut takleef pahunchayi hai usse but now I will make sure that she will get whatever is rightfully hers even her grandparents. He thought and soon he slept thinking about her.
Later in night, raman was sleeping peacefully when he heard someone sobbing and saying something. He got up and looked around only to see ishita murmuring in her sleep-chodo, Chodo mujhe. Please chod do, please please. Nahi don't touch. She was saying and was crying in between.
Raman walked to her and said -ishita ishita. Saying so he touched her and she got up with a scream.
Raman -ishita ishita, kya hua, it's me. Raman.
Ishita look at him and hugged him tight.
Ishita -raman raman woh log, they were touching me, here and here. She said showing him her hand.
Raman consoled her and said -kuch nahi hai, ishita. Koi nahi hai. U r safe here, with me. He said while she start crying hugging him .raman hugged her more into himself and start consoling her while she continued sobbing. Raman was patting her back softly and very soon she was in deep slumber. He caressed her face lovingly and slowly pecked her temple. Raman felt bad at her condition, she was so scared of the incident. He was feeling angry at his friend who create differences between them and he hurt ishita so much because of it.
Raman -i am sorry ishita, don't know how I will forgive myself for this mistake but all I can say is that I will bring ur smile back. Saying so he make her sleep comfortably and was going to couch when he realised she is holding his hand tight. He tried to free his hand only to get her hold more firm on him. He lay down in the little space beside her and she cuddled into him. He was just looking at her, her innocent face and the tears dried in the cores of her eyes. He hide her in his chest and said -i love u ishita, I really do. Saying so he kissed her hair and slept wrapping his arms around her.
Next morning, ishita woke up feeling weight on herself and look around only to see herself crushed into his hard chest, for once she felt scared that where she is but then could see his face and smiled. He was holding her softly yet protectively in his arms .she lifted her head and could see his face settled over her head. She tried to get up but then stop trying and said -shayad yeh mauka phir naa mile, let me live this moment fully. She thought and kissed his chest and closed her eyes again hiding her face in his chest.
After sometime, Raman got up and saw her sleeping. He smiled and kissed her temple again.
Raman -uth jaa raman, today u have to do many things. He said and went to freshen up. After sometime, ishita too got up and went to another room to freshen up seeing the washroom occupied.
Toshiji was wondering what happened that everyone is so silent. After sometime raman came out in his vesti and said -maa, Main jaa raha hoon dadu -dadi ke ghar puja ke liye.
Toshiji made a dirty face and said-ok but come back soon. She was saying when Raman said -ishita come with me.
Ishita -main??
Raman -haan, aaj tumne tumhare ghar le chalna hai, come with me. He said and ishita went behind him while his parent were wondering what went wrong with raman that he is helping ishita to go back her house.
Soon Ishra reached at the gate and ishita stopped there. Raman look at her and signalled her to come inside but she nodded no in nervous. He realised her nervousness and hold her hand. He walked inside with ishita and ishita was looking around seeing her grandpa's house for the first time. He took her to the puja room and she saw her grandparents doing puja. She stood there and signalled Raman to go but he took her along with him.
Her grandma turned feeling someone's presence saying -tu aa gaya raman, but stopped seeing ishita with him.
Grandpa too turned seeing his wife silent and saw Ishra standing together. Her grandpa got angry seeing ishita there and said -why u bring her here, Raman. Don't u know I don't want her in my house, keh do isse ki jaaye wapas apne amma appa ke paas, we don't need her. Agar itne saal nahi aayi hamare paas toh ab kyun aayi hai, hume inn logon ke bina jeene ki aadat ho chuki hai. He was saying when Raman walk to him and said -wahi toh batane aayi hoon dadu, ur granddaughter can't got to her parent as they went leaving her alone. He said making a pin drop silence.
Ishita's grandparent look at Raman with questioning eyes when he said -yes, it's true dadu, ur son and his wife is no more, woh log aapki granddaughter ko akela chod kar chale gaye and now u r also throwing her out, where she will go. She is all alone, dadu. He said and the aarti thaal from grandma's hand fell down, she was also about to fall but Raman hold her in neck of time while grandpa was standing there all numb to react. Ishita was standing in a corner looking at the scene infront of her with teary eyes.
Raman picked dadi ji in his arms and took her to the bed and called the doctor also while dadu was just looking at ishita who was sobbing silently not able to see her grandmother in pain. He finally walked to her and caressed her hair lovingly. She look at him and said -sorry dadu ,I brought such bad news for u. I know aap log aise hi react karenge, that's why I wasn't telling u the truth but kya karun sach toh yahin hai that my parent r no more, Main anaath ho gayi hoon. Mera koi nahi hai, she was saying crying when he pulled her to himself and said hugging her tight -no kanna, don't say like this. Tere amma appa nahi rahe toh kya hua tere dadu-dadi hai, woh abhi bhi zinda hai. U r not orphan kanna, u r our baby. Our granddaughter, hamari bachchi hai tu. He said caressing her hair lovingly while she continued crying in her grandfather's arms. Raman saw them together and smiled that finally he could give her, her part of happiness.
