Doing a daily show and shooting for long hours its hard to take days off and given that Karan and Suhasi are leads and have more scenes overall anyhow, its hard to give days off as well and to balance it (esp if you havent got much banked episodes). But yeah Karan has had i assume a week off now... which must of been hard for filming hence we getting Gautam and more Aggarwal family drama...
Best bet would be to have Karan do light scenes, and give him scenes where he is recovering, in a bed or hospital when he comes back or so.
