mm i havent watched maya so i will go for zoya for that reason. i do like that they are setting her up to develop as a person who is innocent, naive and sheltered to someone who will stand on her feet and know how to fight, be independent and self reliant. the show is aware of zoya being a sheltered princess but i like that angle because a lot of the times you do ended getting female characters that a loud comedy types, which isnt bad but i like the change of pace. clearly they have something in mind for her character arc.
One thing that similar in both is that both are accused of loving too much. Those who don't deserve them. Arjun in Beyhadh and Yash in Bepannaah
