this system is definitely not reliable at all...and this is just not because kkb is not on the top...but a lot other shows are being affected as well..there seems to be a lot of dishonesty in the system...

It's not just tampering with the sample data. Even if they explain how they get the data and show transparency, it's not enough.

It's unethical for barc whose members are all broadcasting and advertising companies to lead the process for ratings for the shows. Ratings have to be computed by an unbiased third party group - not the tv production houses, not the advertisers. Because both of them have a vested interest in how the ratings will turn out. BARC's ratings are definitely biased.

Nielsen ratings is the group that does ratings in over 100 countries. Indian tv needs to outsource ratings to Nielsen. I'm sure we'll see a huge shift in tv programming and content and quality then.

@bold.. love what you said.. but can only hope for something like that, in India transparency is very rare and people are so used to things being convoluted, they want to have it that way..
