I am a huge fan of Suhasi since her YMGGK days. I was really excited seeing the promos and the concept of the show which seemed so different. It had such good promise of a more realistic and relatable to life.
I fell in love with all the characters except for a few that seemed very caricature like.

Initially I was hooked and loved looking forward to episodes

But of late I have a few issues with the show

A) Characterization

1) Badi Ma's character is so preposterous. Yes I do agree she would justly be against Sahil and Vedika's love due to her being a strong believer of the old school thought of the man being older than the woman and Vedika being a widow and having a child would definitely not fly with her. To an extend I still believed her getting her son-in-law to set up a false allegation of Vedika to get her thrown out of Kanpur. But to kidnap her and to think she would kidnap Sahil and lock her up is utterly illogical and overdramatic. Secondly its not that easy to just go into someone's house forcefully and put a sack over their head and take them away without drawing attention to people around the neighbourhood.😕

2) Gautam is another character that seems to be too villanous out of a movie. I would have preferred if they kept Gautam having shades of grey and not completely turn him out and out a whole villain.
Even if he was obsessive over Vedika he wouldn't have waited all this while after her husband has passed to act and it would be more believable that he would cheat on his wife living in the states rather than bring them to India and her and his child kidnapped. 🤔 Nobody in the real world could get away with kidnapping their wife and child without escaping a imprisonment and punishment from the law for at least months or years. How did he all of a sudden get out of custody and don't even say escape. He does not have superhuman powers to do so.

3) The set especially Vedika's house looks so fake and unbelievable as a house from the exterior 🤢. It definitely looks like a set piece, even the lanes of her area don't look convincing or believable as a real house, whereas Sahil's does look legit. The action scenes are really cringy. Let the scene of Sahil jumping when he's saving Arya. I mean like he was on the same level ground so where did the jump come from. Also when Vedika was defending herself and hit Gautam with a rod he didn't faint but the moment she pushed him to the wall that impact made him lose consciousness, The rod is much heavier to cause a larger impact than the hit against the wall. Even the kidnapping scene of Sahil in the water with electrodes, like hellooo water with electricity is a big no Sahil would have been completely electrocuted and burnt and died.

I mean come one I love the pace at the way they don't drag the show but 3 kidnappings in a show that had promised realism is just something I'm unable to connect with.

I really wish the show goes back to being more in touch with reality and not to be so unreal and unbelievable.

I have to give up on tv serials portraying realism, I just feel sad seeing a great actor like Suhasi having to act in a show that just doing do justice to her acting skills.

Please change for the better Indian television

I feel this show is far better than other nonsensical shows on ITV which run for years together.
yes, I agree initial episodes were beautifully crafted , but then Indian audiences like drama... See the trp graph which speaks for itself.

There have been track changes due to Kjs injury, but still cvs managed to keep the audiences hooked in absence of their adorable hero sahil. Is that not laudable for a show which is not even 50 episodes old?

Yes,there have been disappointments, but the cvs always manage to surprise the audiences with some mad elements which are absolutely sweet. One such example is the radio station sequence which came out as a pleasant surprise for most of us.

My point... anth bhala toh Sab bhala... Cheers
