Initially, he was tolerant of Zoya coming to her native place despite his animosity over Yash. Now, suddenly he's allowing her to stay in her own house upon Yash's death. A sudden change of heart doesn't buy me this. I know that he's her father and cares for her. He's right about not cribbing onto Yash's memories forever but why was the sudden change like she should immediately forget him? I mean, her husband just passed and you are telling her immediately to forget him. It's not that easy to forget someone who's known you for 5-6 years.
