Just read again, so awesome, really wish to see what s coming next...

Arnav Singh Raizada had forced Khushi Gupta to accompany him to Raizada Mansion. They might not share any relationship with each other but does not mean that he will wave away his responsibility towards her. He was also aware that the feeling of duty was not the only emotion which bound him to her but he chose not to acknowledge those feelings which lied dormant in him for years.
Khushi had gone numb after hearing the news from his mouth. She did not even utter a single word after the revelation. It was almost as if she had passed into a vegetative state. He imagined the amount of turmoil she would experience if she were to continue as a surrogate and leave her child with him and his apathetic family which cared only about its wishes and aspirations.
It has been two days since the miscarriage and doctor had declared an immune response as the reason for the miscarriage. That was the only time he saw a reaction in Khushi's face. Tears flowed from her eyes which seemed to have forgotten how to blink periodically. Her eyes only closed to drowse away in the effect of sedatives and needless to say, it pierced him in a way he had never imagined.
Her muscular co-ordination was disintegrated and she was barely able to walk straight. Since her room was on the first floor of Raizada Mansion, Arnav took it upon himself to pick her up in his arms and escort her to her niche in his haven. She felt so light and so lifeless that it wrenched his heart to see the feisty and sarcastic woman's face.
Arnav gently placed her on the bed and arranged the pillows to allow her to be seated.
"I will get something to eat and drink for you, Khushi," he said and turned around to follow his words when her voice stopped him in mid-way.
"I want my child back," she chanted, almost in a trance-like tone.
He did not understand if he was to feel happy that she finally uttered something or plunge himself into guilt that his decision to go for surrogacy has wrecked a woman completely.
He turned around and took a seat opposite her, while holding her limp right palm in his.
"You know it is not possible, Khushi. Your..." he paused and took a deep breath and continued,"..our child is no more."
"NO! I want my child!" she shouted, pulling her hand away from his and her weak eyes turned into saucers.
"Khushi! Please calm down! I can understand.."
"No, you cannot! You cannot understand what a mother goes through when she loses her child!" she exclaimed, letting the tears flow through her eyes without any control.
She furiously wiped her tears and continued, "It is beyond your imagination to think of the void a mother experiences when she loses the life she carried in her womb. You will not understand, Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada."
The sense of loss and the sense of regret for not mourning the untimely and unfortunate death of his unborn surrounded him. How could he? He was busy trying to tether Khushi's soul to the land of mortals. She had lost a lot of blood due to the immune response and the miscarriage and it could be fatal for her if she was not taken care of.
"You think I don't regret the loss of my first child, Khushi? I accept that I was against this idea but that does not mean that I will not have any feelings towards the life which shares half of my genes, it does not mean that I did not internally mourn the loss. If a mother has lost the life in her womb, a father has also lost his dreams, the warmth in his heart at the memory of the child and the only entity whom he had truly loved with every bit of his heart. That child would not just have been my first born, Khushi, the child was also my first love," he explained, looking straight into her eyes with sincerity and pain which were equally reflected in her own hazel orbs.
Khushi just plainly stared at him with shock and pain. The memory of the blood pool she was surrounded surfaced to the front of her mind and she felt her sobs increase in intensity. Involuntarily, she leaned towards the man, who was on the same boat as her and was probably the only one who actually understood her pain. Seeing her gravitating towards him, he instantly moved to the place on the bed beside her.
She placed her head on his warm shoulder and clutched his arm with hers as she wept her heart out. It churned his insides to see a woman, as strong as Khushi, so vulnerable and broken. He placed one of his palms on her knee and other on her shoulder and caressed them gently with assurance in every touch.
"If you regret it as much as I do then can you fulfill my wish?" she asked, amidst her sobs.
She had never asked anything from him, in fact she turned away his privileges and the offers and stood to her ground with self-respect and head held higher than him. He wondered what was that she needed and he could give her.
"What is your wish, Khushi?" he questioned in the softest tone she had ever heard him speak in. It seemed so peaceful and soothing to rest her head on his shoulder and listen to him. She had felt that peace only in her father's arms. The protectiveness, the concern and the affection which were present in his lovely embrace seemed to reflect through Arnav and she found herself craving for him, having lost her father years ago and the calming draught of his embossom, a mere memory.
"I want my child back, Arnav. I know that you cannot resurrect the dead and no one can ever take place of the child we lost but we can surely get a replica of the child in the form of another. I want to become a mother, Arnav. Only a child with your genes will be like the one I have lost. Please accept my request. Please," she begged, leaving Arnav in utter shock.
