That was true, they had come out for shopping, it had been 4 hours and Geet hadn't found even one good dress, she had found many she liked but Naina was quick to reject all of them giving excuses

Geet knew where she had done the mistake

She was perfectly okay with the clothes she already had. What was the point of roaming around the place for 2-3 hours just to buy 2-3 clothes. It was such a waste of money, 'i would rather stay home and watch something on the tv. I don't see why i can't wear the Stranger Things shirt to my office, it's not as if a portal to The Upside Down would open up if i wore it'. She laughed at her own geeky joke. After a few more trials, Naina had accepted her defeat and said that Geet could buy any dress she liked and Geet decided that she didn't like any. Thus, their trip to the mall had ended with Naina shopping a lot and Geet coming back empty handed and that was just the dresses.

Later they went down to cosmetics section because

"What person would want to roam with a dress not matching their lipstick and eyeshadow as Naina had quoted it and Geet felt like she was Andrea from The Devil Wears Prada, who had no sense of fashion.

Now they were walking through a line of bridal wears, Naina had insisted on having a Christian themed wedding and she had just stumbled upon the perfect wedding gown.

This is it! This is The Dress!' she had exclaimed and Geet for the first time that day agreed to Naina's choice. The dress seemed to increase the grace and beauty 10 folds and Niana looked like a princess from a fairytale.

Don't you think you should save her from the impending wrath?' she whispered to him

Naahhh, she had it coming' he replied.

Where's Naina?' Geet asked the next morning stuffing the burnt toast she just made while trying to put on her jacket.

She left early as she had a few formalities to take care of' Dev chipped in.

Don't worry pumpkin, I'll drop you to the office' he offered seeing her tensed expressions.

The R&K was majestic inside out! Geet was in awe for the place when she bumped into someone accidentally and knocked down their coffee.

Sam??? Sam is here! Oh no, I have to somehow escape from here before she...' her thought was interrupted as she felt something lukewarm on herself.

It took her a second to realize that Sam had emptied the rest of the coffee on her dress, there were people watching and she could feel that a round of gossip had already started. Her eyes were burning with unshed tears when she saw Pinky asking the janitor to clean the mess on the floor. Pinky then took her to the nearby restroom and gave her the change of clothes,

Than...' pinky held her hands up indicating her to stop

We knew you'd get into trouble as soon as you entered, it's not the first time this is happening. Good thing that you didn't talk back or else it could have gotten much worse' she said coming out.

It happens with all the interns here, Sam likes to show them that she's in power and she stages something within 5 minutes of their joining and makes sure that they are embarrassed' Pinky responded.

Sam is one of the fashion models here, she's on demand that's no surprise - and she's in run to be the next Supermodel for The R&K' Adi cleared her doubt even before she asked what Sam was here for.

Oh! I thought she was here cos of Maan' Geet told.

And that too...' Pinky confirmed her statement.

Later Adi went on to explain Geet about the importance of running errands, like serving coffee/messaging the clients/sending out packages and sometimes even walking the dogs. Communication is the key' he had told before he told her about writing down messages/replies on behalf of her supervisor. Pinky had continued from there and told about the importance of wardrobe and photoshoots, like managing the company closet and accessories while making sure that the shoot is on schedule and ensuring that the photographers and models are content.

Wasn't there another intern who was supposed to join with you today? I believe you both were in the same college' Adi enquired.

no sooner had Geet finished her sentence Naina had entered the premises. Geet was about to go and greet her when Pinky held her hands and motioned her to look in the opposite direction. To no one's surprise Sam was walking with a cup of coffee towards the entrance where Naina stood trying to stage the same drama, Adi signaled the janitor to be ready with a mop while Pinky was on her toes to go to the store room to get an extra pair of clothes.

Oh yes, she would' she turned around to see the source of the voice and saw Maan standing beside her leaning on the wall

As expected Sam had bumped into the intern, while others were waiting for an apology from her and a showdown from Sam they were surprised that the intern was fuming.

Can't you watch where you're going?' both Naina and Sam had told at the same time and were surprised by the other persons audacity.

Watch your mouth Miss..., you don't know whom you are messing with' Sam had told to which Naina had just raised her eyebrow in a ridiculed way.

I am Maan's girlfriend' Sam had said irritated by her behavior

And I am Nainatara Rathode, I hope you know who I am' Naina had ended with a smirk on her face.

No one knew that the heir to Rathode's would be joining as an intern and Naina being stubborn about leading a normal life had kept away from media, so there were very less people who knew about her.

In an attempt to save herself Sam started giving an excuse I'm... I'm sorry... I didn't do it on purpo...'

Few gasps were heard when Naina had swiftly snatched the cup of coffee and poured it in a quick motion on Sam's dress

Well, two can play the game' Maan whispered before going to meet Naina, ignoring a distressed Sam who couldn't believe the turn of events.
