Did they rushed the Sridevi investigation?

Apologies if this matter has already been discussed here but I would love to hear your thoughts if you think this investigation was rushed? One thing that irked me was how the Indian consulate was trying to expedite the release of her body even though in many countries such type of investigations take a lot of time and the authorities are given a chance to throughly finish their procedures.

As many others I also have my reservations in her sudden death and the circumstances and how some pieces don't seem to fit in place especially the contradicting statements of the witnesses. Given the fact that there was no burial but likely cremation of her body meaning no possible chances of exhuming all in all I feel they should have let things in due course.

I agree. I know they ruled out foul play but the mystery behind her death still remains. People know that she drowned but nobody knows how and who found her first and the timeline is so messed up too. Personally, IDU why would it be problematic for the family to reveal such details, atleast this way everybody will stop speculating.

Yeah first they said it was a cardiac arrest then the post mortem said drowning. The report itself had grammatical errors stating accidental drowning. One would imagine all drownings are accidental? And also it said drawning which would be entirely different term for a old English capital punishment. And then more confusion how she was found. Some said it was Boney, others said the hotel staff. Apparently he was going back to India but then showed up to surprise her? Too many plot holes.

I don't think any foul play was involved. I think it was a very unfortunate event where she had a pill or a drink too much and lost consciousness hence ended up drowning.
Whatever the cause may have been we will never find out Boney is not speaking- if he does he is not to be believed either way.
Anil will never open up so .

I think you have to be extremely unconscious and almost passed out to be drowned in a bath tub. The body's natural reaction in flight or fight mode means even a drunk person would fight back to get up. It is another matter if one is pushed down with physical force and held there. Usually it wont leave any marks on the body or any strangulation or even fingerprints.

Maybe , but maybe she did have alcohol problem or abusing prescription drugs, Boney must have given them the details of her health issues, and everything got cleared without any foul play
Look at Whitney's daughters case , the boyfriend was questioned and let go of

also I feel they rushed to giving a state funeral

What is fairly obvious is she had an issue with some sort of substance abuse. Despite the whole Boney amar prem katha story and what allegedly happened interview.

I think Dubai investigators were told the truth, hence they released the body after satisfying themselves of no foul play. I have faith that they would have done due diligence because their name and reputation were on the line, their loyalty was not towards any coverup for Sridevi's sake. The Indian government got the report and is satisfied as well.

The family will lie to protect her reputation which I fully understand. I don't think strangers or fans need to know what happened.

I find it really weird how the family seems to have moved on, its just not even a month passed..

they r enjoying, dinners, movie screenings...just saw media publishing 'adorable' video of arjun kapoor with boney...

they r behaving as if she was supposed to go way..because normally i don't see people who die out of a sudden can easily move, esp when ur so attached...it takes time..but this family has super human strength I guess..

I second ur thoughts...the way she has died, the proceedings, the conclusion, the overall hoopla and the way they have moved on is surely mysterious and doesn't look normal
