Rani Mukerji is busy promoting her film Hichki. In the film, she plays the role of a teacher who suffers from Tourette syndrome. This is her comeback film after Adira Chopra was born. She was last seen in the film Mardaani (2015).

Along with Nepotism, pay disparity is also one of the burning topics making headlines.

About the same, the Mardaani actor said that a lot of people who can't act are talking about pay disparity.

Rani Mukerji told a leading tabloid, "That's not what drove me to work. I worked to be happy. My parents took care of my finances."

She further added, "Nowadays, a lot of people who don't know how to act are also talking of pay parity. It's important to hone your skills and become good at what you do, money will follow. Actors make money from endorsements or cutting ribbons. Money can come from anywhere."

Meanwhile, Rani Mukerji has won the hearts of millions of fans with her charm and superlative performances. Rani has a body of work that speaks of her acting prowess and versatility. Rani said that she does not interfere in husband Aditya Chopra's work.

She said, "I have been a very individualistic person. My achievements are my own and my husband's, his own. I think he has single-handedly done what he has done. I have been part of his movies, I have contributed to his productions, but the company is his father's, and it is his."

Underlined. TOTALLY unnecessary and not related to topic. Whether they know to act or not, aren't they going to sets and doing the best they can? Giving their time? Are all our heroes khans included academy award winner actors?

Why doesn't she address the MAIN topic ie. disparity of pay. Top actresses are included here. Did Deepika get paid what Salman Khan gets paid for Fanny or Piku or Baijrao? Will she get paid like them for a heroine oriented role from Yashraj? NO.

THAT is the main question here, Rani. NOT whether heroines can act or not. You are sounding like you can't handle being a Malkin from being underdog of industry. Use your status for good, not to vent your pent up frustrations on those you wanted to spew venom at but couldn't pre Malkin days.

Yash chopra fell out with SRK because he refused less pay from them during Yashraj patriarch days and in revenge Yash chopra doyen of Bollywood cinema stooped low enough to influence national award jury to NOT give national award to SRK for Swadesh, instead they gave it to Saif for Hum Tum. That's the kind of family she married into. Putting people in bikinis in their films because they're big banner. That's why YRF are a shadow of what they are and marrying Rani will see their further downfall. Already Aditya has incurred bad karma by divorcing. The way he is promoting Vaani, who knows. Once a cheater, always a cheater.
