Avni, oops let me say Jaan didi recieves threatening letter from goons, she worried and scared. (Nothing new, her upmost priority are the kids)

She takes Mitali's help and it seems like Mitali will keep quiet about Avni being alive. I don't think for selfish reasons but for Avni's sake i guess she has promised to remain quiet... not sure, just my thoughts after watching the vid.

What is the expiry date of the this very very short cameo?

I will still say that Mitali was never required in the story, she is an unwanted addition to cast

How about instead of Mitali, DD had come to know about Avni being alive and then his dilemma whether to tell Neil about it

This would have further increased his scope of scene with Sunehri discussing with her what he should do

If Ali was Avni's partner in crime, then DD was Avni's partner in investigation

I would have liked to see DD's active participation in bailing Avni out of this problem
