You know i was not sure how this radio thing would go, but what works and has always worked in this show is the dialogues and that emotional connect... simplicity scenes, with dialogues given to Sahil and Vedika as individuals and together. This could of gone in cringeworthy way trying to profess all through the radio to everyone but the dialogues and emotions worked.
Two things were important in the episode:
- Vedika's letter to Sahil
- Sahil's plea over the radio
We know and the show has shown us in words and action, that Sahil not only loves Vedika but respects her and that respects holds above Love for him.
In alot of indian shows, we see couples who come together, like boy meets girl, or bad boy meets good girl or spoilt brat meets boy... etc something happens and they fall in love in a typical serial scenerio... we see LOVE, but we rarely see RESPECT or the emphasis of Respect shown.
This show has shown Love and RESPECT and the emphasis of respect in action and words with Vedika and Sahil...
And that is what Sahil has shown and given to Vedika as his family and this society has teared them down as a human and as a person, and as male and female. BOTH Sahil and Vedika have respect for each other and themselves.
Sahil is not only giving Vedika back her respect and dignity (and hopefully her home, IF she comes back) with this stunt on the radio but proving she is innocent and he has the proof... and the cause of WHY such remarks and taunts and why this court case happened... It's his love for her... to an elder woman... and his family are the cause as well. (Also Vedika trying to protect the innocent girl who we know is Shruti).
Vedika's letter...
A beautiful letter... so much was said to him - her respect for him, her value for him, her dilemma, her memories of him, her wishes for him, her thanks to him.
How she sees him, how a good clean hearted man he is, truthful man, how he has shown her that there are good men in this world who respect and values women. His support ever since he knocked on her door. I wish i could write the whole letter here but its way too long lol.
Vedika again makes one sentence say alot with the age gap they have... She is writing a letter to him, in this day and age as she says who writeS a letter since social media is here... that's the difference in their age. What a line.
Heartbreaking was when she said... "I wanted to meet you once for last to say goodbye, but some stories are better as incomplete one reminds me of one simple sentence 'Hamari Adhuri Kahaani'
Vedika also writes in the letter, that he has fulfilled their friendship with the way he has always supported her and been there for her and the family, but the thing is, he has fulfilled LOVE, his love for her, the unconditional love... what a man does for the woman he loves too, to stand up for her, stand by her and fight this society and world... and would fight his family because he is with the truth! (because as she says he always supported her and the truth, so him going against his family is the right decision in this case)
Vedika wishes for him to find happiness, and true life partner... and someone his age, but in this day and age, who says the right partner is always the one who is the right age. Sahil could very well find someone just settle and to go along the norms of the society/family, but he is never going to love her in the way he has loved and fought for Vedika (i mean no other woman would ever compare to Vedika, who is purity and truth and grace). And esp since Vedika and Sahil are meant to be... each signal and connection and signs are for Vedika and Sahil to become one.
He is hers... and she will forever be his ❤️
I can only hope Vedika gets courage from what she has listened to from Sahil and the viewers who rang in... also know that a part of society and world will always be there, judging and another part who will be accepting and suporting. But what matters is the two people in question with each other... and their love and the respect... and these two have bundles of it and they finally do get together.
Oh and i want to quote and add this here... as it was posted in the SaDika thread which was so very well said...

Vedika's words -
'Thanks kehna chahti thi tumhe, jo kuch kiya sirf uskey liye nai, mujhe yeh yakeen dilane ke liye ke duniya mein acche, bharosemand, dil ke saaf mard bhi hai..Log tumhe bachkana, chichora kehte hai na, maine bhi kaha hai! Par Sahil, maine apne zindagi mein tumse accha ladka kabhi nahi dekha! Tumse milte hi maine samjha ke kuch mard agar ek aurat ke sath haivano jaisa bartav kar sakte hai, toh kuch aise bhi hai jo unki izaat karte hai, samman karte hai..'These words declared that deep down she feels he is a man, mature enough to be any girl's or should I say any WOMAN's MAN! Vedika's these words were enough to prove what she feels for Sahil and how she acknowledges him as a man, a man who protected her family, a man who tried to be her friend, a man who always gave her the due respect,a man who loved her with all his heart ,a man who has started to become her man! This was beautiful. <3
