It was Gauri's first day at college, yes it was her first day but a week has passed since the start of her new college. She was a very sincere student who topped her boards as well as her three years of B.Com study.
Her only best friend Bhavya joined her for studying further and both qualified the entrance exam to enter one of the best colleges of Mumbai dealing with Business Studies.
At present , as she walked through the college grounds ,
"Gauri are you fine now ? Why do you take so much pressure yaar ? Can't you just keep your side business of designing a little aside ?"
After Gauri's parents died , she was brought up by her Chacha and Chachi .Though they were never interested in bringing her up , they kept her with them because of her father's will stating that unless Gauri is taught well and married off , her chacha would not be allowed to take a penny from his brother's savings.
She was always interested in fashion designing and was quite confident and eager to pursue it .Considering her brother as her only support , she joined designing classes unknown to her chacha chachi ,only to be beaten up later on . Her brother never supported her . Whenever she would need him or place her trust in him , he only betrayed her as he was more willing to be in good books of people . As time passed Gauri became too used to all the taunts and beatings from her chacha chachi and started expecting less from her brother.
The final nail in the coffin for their relation was when her brother Ranveer married an American girl to settle abroad. He promised Gauri that he'd take her out of the hell they were in , but as usual he left her midway. And all the repercussions of his act were faced by Gauri .
Her chacha forcefully made her take Business studies as a course so that she could take care of her father's business as she grew up, it would become much easier for him to misuse her dad's money then. When she took up a hobby of designing, her chachi exploited her and sold the designs in her own name.
Gauri had no other option rather than staying with them . She had no one to go to. And if she'd leave , all her father's hard earned money and business would be ruined by her chacha and chachi.
Growing up she began despising the idea of love as a whole. But something she hated the most now was the word "BROTHER".
As she and Bhavya went on discussing about what she'd missed in these 7 days , 2 luxury cars stopped in front of the main gate .
Three boys walked out of those along with one girl.One of them was all decked up in suit. With his attitude it seemed as though he was the president of America while the other seemed to be quite playful. The third one looked quite innocent and was a young handsome boy having long hair. The girl was wearing long pointed heels and was dressed indecently.
After hugging each other and waving good bye , the long haired guy walked into the college with the girl.
"Do you see that Gauri ? They are THE OBEROI BROTHERS !! And that long haired guy is Omkara Singh Oberoi... He's our senior !! Sooo handsome he is ! Unfortunately he's hooked up ...:(...Do you see her ? She's his girlfriend! Lucky girl !
Gauri rolled her eyes at what Bhavya said.
"So ? And how do you know so much about them ?! You just joined college !!" asked an amused Gauri.
"They're so famous Gauri ! The richest family in Mumbai ! Moreover that hottie is our senior ...who wouldn't know ? I don't like Riddhima though ... she's not nice !
"Riddhima ?
"His girlfriend of course ! But I must say , these Brothers are a sensation ... and I've heard that they share quite a strong bond ! What brotherly affection they have for each other mahn ! I wish I had a brother too..."
Gauri grew quite furious listening to her last statement.
" Brotherly affection my foot !! They must be with each other due to property issues !...and it's nice you don't have a brother Bhavya ...
Saying that she took her books and walked away while Bhavya watched her with pity !
