India Today is having its Conclave at Grand Hyatt Mumbai.
Karishma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were the guests.
It was an important podium to discuss important issues of cinema industry

But Rajdeep Sardesai made it an usual useless interaction just talking about the old topic of kanganas nepotism charge. Even making Karishma Kareena dance on hero no.1 songs and mauja hi mauja.
Kareena was so embarassed, She initially was refusing, She even told Rajddep sardesai, the event doesnt suit to dance on stage. It would look ok at Kofee with karan not at India Today summit where policy makers, big business heads are seated to hear about the economics, the prospects and scenario of actresses in bollywood .
Rajdeep Sardesai had no quality questions to ask. There were so many topics that could have been asked ..But it was useless as an event.
what was so upsetting was he outrightly said 90's and the phase of her career with Govinda was the worst time of Hindi Cinema.The 90's were horrible.
How could he say that? He is talking as if he is an international filmmaker and watches lot of world cinema. If he doesnt like 90's no issues, but there are lots of people who have grown up in 90's and love that phase of cinema. Of course Cinema is changing but does that mean we criticise the old times. Now iphone ,smartphone is in use, but do we say how idiots we were to use landline phones or go to PCO or use nokia1100. We accept change but not by ridiculing the gone times.
I am not a Lolo fan but Karishma indeed is a better speaker and a better person than Kareena. Karishma according to me did substantially well. She did Comedies with Govinda, than the superhit Raja Hindustani, Dil to Pagal Hai. Biwi No.1, Zubeidaa, Fiza, Shakti.
Filmfare awards plus national awards. Never gave provocative statements against other heroines or cat fight while sharing space with Madhuri in Dil to Pagal Hai. Never looked down upon others as kareena does in interviews. She deserved better questions regarding how to manage career of a divorced mother without much career options.
Oh yes kareena said, after seeing the chaos regarding taimur's name she was more adamant to keep the name taimur while saif had recommended another name.
Kareena has only learned in her life to do backbiting and bring down if some other actresses are doing well than her.
