Disgusting batting lets India down.

It was a shameful performance by the much hyped batsmen in blue that let India down.The excellent bowling by the young guns was not enough and India lost the match. Australia won the Adelaide one day by 50 runs.Irfan,Munaf,Ishant bowled so well and restricted the aussies to 204 for 9.In reply our middle order collapsd like a pack of cards..they threw away their wickets and handed over the match to Australia.Shame on Team India.

This is what the captains said.....:

Australia captain Ricky Ponting:
"All the games have followed a similar trend - with us not batting well but doing enough to win.
"The bowlers held us up, we were sharp in the field and although we haven't played our best cricket we're still on top of the table.

"It didn't come off with the bat but it's a good sign that we're winning games - and some of them comfortably - when we're not playing well."

India captain Mahendra Dhoni:
"The bowlers did their job and it was a good score to chase on a track that was not doing much but the batsmen tried a few flashy shots which didn't pay off.
"They have to realise when they are chasing such totals they have to take more responsibility, especially if we are playing five bowlers and are one batsman short.

"The bowlers are up to the mark and the fielders are doing well - it's time for the batsmen to take the initiative."

kam se kam 163 toh banate ..
i mean .. the aussies wudn't get a 'bonus' then .. 😕

hopeless batting by India...I mean apart from Dhoni, nobody seemed to b trying n building up their inings and battling to win the match... 😕 They played flashy shots..and threw away their wickets!! 😕 Wat was the need of such shots wen u wer chasing only 204 and not a score as massiv as 320 or sumthing!! 😕
Indian batsmen need to develop a sense of responsibility...u can't just only depend on Tendulkar or even Dhoni for that matter! 😕

Not to forget, Aussies did an outstanding job wid the ball!! They bowled brilliantly....!! 👏After getting out for such a small total, they bounced back hard at India and India cud not reply back!

If u see the past few games..Aussie batting is not doing that well..their batting collapses but the good thing wid them is that they alwayz recover in batting and then come wid a strong reply in bowling! There's alwayz 1 man who stands out and takes the team to a slightly defendable score and then their bowlers finish things up!! 😛 👏 that day when they got out on sumthing like 150 or so, there was Hussey who stood out and then, they did not giv up easily and fought hard in bowling tho they lost the match! Then wen playing wid SL..they made 231 but again there was one man standing out:Gilchrist...and again their bowlers did it for them! Now today too, their batting collapsed but Michael Clarke stood out!Then again their bowlers did their job...!! 👏 👏

yes, manu...recently i get worked up when the team performs badly...yeh logon ko ab se mein itni importance kabhi nahin doongi..and the best part is my hubby is travelling all the way to sydney to watch the 24th match.....fan ho toh aisi😆 😉with friends.

madhuri it is over confidence that did the damage this time.....infact in place of sree ....suresh raina could have played..am happy that munaf got the chance...agar defeat hi honi hein toh atleast take some chance and use the players who have gone in the 16 member team......felt like banging yuvi when he played that absurd shot...then using rohit as a runner whom we all all is a like a sleeping beauty and cannot run well between wickets😡

another mistake that India made was prolly that they reduced one batsman and played 5 specialist bowlers...
eventhough yuvraj and Tendulkar can bowl too!! 😕
They had a total of 7 bowlers..!
