Ishra were hugging each other tight when the assistant said -her test is over, report aane mein time lagega. Till the time u can take her and have something. Reports aane ke baad Aap logon ko time nahi milega. Doctor sahab, inko hypnotise karna shuru karenge. So till the reports r coming u can go and have food, as it will be long procedure.
Raman nodded and took ishita out. They went to the near by cafe and had food. Ishita was eating happily while Raman was getting tensed thinking what will come in the report. He was praying continuously to matarani to keep his ishita safe.
After having food, they went back to the hospital and finally to the doctor's cabin. Doctor welcomed them and told them to wait as Ishita's reports r yet to come.
Ishra nodded and raman sat down while ishita start looking around the pics. doctor was going out when Raman said -doctor, can I ask u something??
Doc-haan puchiye??
Raman -doc,kya thik hone ke baad ishita mujhe bhool sakti hai?? He asked making doc look at him.
Raman -i mean aisa hota hai kya, ki thik hone baad woh mujhe bilkul bhool jaaye, pehchane hi naa ki main uska pati hoon. He asked meekly while fear was evident from his eyes.
Doctor smiled and asked -who told u this, I mean to ask that why u asked such a question all of a sudden.
Raman -actually I saw a movie, Jisme the heroine forgot the hero after getting fine. I know u must be thinking that I am presuming things seeing a movie but sach mein yeh baat jaanna mere liye bahut jaruri hai.
Doc-i am totally understanding ur situation Mr bhalla, kisi aise ki khona joh aapse bahut pyaar karta ho, soch kar bhi darr lagta hai. But yeh ho sakta hai. He said making Raman gulp his saliva in fear. His eyes got moist and he asked -matlab ishita mujhe bhool sakti hai.
Doc -aap toh emotional ho gaye Mr bhalla, yeh jaruri nahi ki hai, bahuton ke saath nahi hota,but kisi kisi ke saath hota bhi hai. I mean sometimes people forget their relatives.
Raman -kisi kisi ke saath aisa hota hai toh mere saath toh jarur hi hoga. Main toh hamesha se badnaseeb hoon, mujhse hamesha woh chinn jaata hai joh mujhe chahiye hota hai. He said while tears made way down his cheek.
Doc -mr bhalla, Aap ro rahe hai?? He asked in concern.
Raman wiped his tears and said -no nahi toh. Bas I know that I am unlucky enough to lose ishita. He was saying when he felt her touch wiping his tears.
Raman raised his head and ishita sat next to raman. She cupped his face and asked wiping his tears -kya hua raman, Aap kyun ro rahe hai. Doctor uncle ne daanta kya,she asked and then looked at doctor asking -aapne daanta raman ko, aapne rulaya mere Raman ko, bolo, kyun kiya aisa. Woh kitne achche hai phir bhi unhe daanta. Gandi baat hai naa, chalo sorry bolo. Bolo sorry. She said scolding the doctor making him smile.
Doc -sorry, mujhe nahi pata tha that she is so precious for u. I will try my level best that she will not forget u, baaki toh bhagwaan ke haath mein hai.
Raman -bhagwaan hi toh mere saath nahi rehte. He said while ishita hugged him tight consoling him.
Ishita -nahi rote raman, yeh doctor gande hai. We will not come here. She was busy in consoling him while doctor went out leaving Ishra alone.
After sometime, Raman got normal. He hugged ishita tight and said -thanks for being with me always, thanks ishita.
Ishita smiled hearing this and said -i will be with u always, coz I love u raman.
Raman smiled hearing her words and again hugged her while she was busy in kissing his face consoling her.
After sometime, doctor came out with the reports and said -reports r here.
Raman look at him while he start studying the reports.
After ten minutes, doctor said -mr bhalla, ur wife's brain is not working appropriately as most of her brain nerves r damaged. But it can be treated, but it will take long time. Matlab ek do din nahi, it will take months or may be even a year. U have to be patient.
Raman -I am patient doctor,kitna bhi samay lage just make her good.
Doc -ok, then I am starting her treatment from today only, today I will hypnotise her and will try to know her past.
Raman nodded and doctor took them to his hypnotising chamber. Ishita was feeling scared so she hide into Raman. Raman made her sit on the chair and soon doctor started the procedure. At first ishita was scared but soon she slept.doctor started taking her in the past, at first she start telling about her childhood that how happy and contended she was with her parent.
Raman too smiled seeing the genuine smile on the face.
Doc -achcha yeh batao tumhare parent ki death kaise hui thi?? He asked making her face fell. Tears start rolling down her cheek.doctor was encouraging her to talk but she was just crying.
Seeing her crying, Raman was walking towards ishita to console her but doctor told him to stop and let her talk.
Raman-but woh ro rahi hai, she needs me doctor.
Doc -that I know, but more then u she needs to speak up. Taaki hume pata toh chale ki kaun si woh baat hai jisne inke dimaag ko itna bada jhatka diya that she lost her mental balance. Let her talk Mr bhalla.
Raman -but she is crying, I can't see her crying. He said getting worried.
Doc -still u have to wait, u can't disturb in between the session. I will tell u to go to her when she will really feel ur need. Abhi woh thik hai, let her talk. He said to which Raman just nodded.
He stood in the corner while ishita was talking about the toughest time of her life.
Doc -bolo, batao mujhe. Kaise hui tumhare parent ki death. He asked softly and finally ishita start telling-it was a normal day in our house, we were having food when appa just fell down. All got scared and he was taken to hospital where he was declared death. He got a massive cardiac arrest. My appa died leaving us alone.we were so shattered, not understanding how to handle all this when after two days amma too died leaving me completely alone. Main bilkul akeli ho gayi thi, appa bhi chale gaye amma bhi chali gayi. Mujhe akela kar diya. She said crying.
Doc -this is the first crack in her mental health. Yahin se inki dimaagi haalat kharab honi shuru ho gayi hogi. Loosing ur parent is hard to accept. He said to Raman who was looking at ishita with moist eyes.
Doc -phir kya hua, phir kahan gayi tum. Amma appa ke bina kaise rahi Kiske saath rahi.kuch yaad hai.
Ishita -yes I do remember, appa amma ke saare rituals pure hone ke baad I went with vandu akka and bala jeeju. She said making Raman confused.
Raman -yeh kaun hai, I never heard about them.
Doc -let me ask her, yeh Vandu akka aur bala jeeju kaun hai??
Ishita -vandu akka is my sister. Real sister, she got married to bala jeeju. Woh dono Delhi mein rehna the, after my parent's death, I was all alone so they brought me here with them from Chennai. She said making Raman understand that she came to Delhi with her sister.
Raman -toh abhi woh log kahan hai, yeh apne mama mami ke paas kaise pahunchi.
Doc -wait, let me ask. Let her tell, she will tell everything herself. Don't force her. He said to Raman and asked ishita -achcha batao, phir kya hua. Jab tum apni Vandu akka ke ghar aayi phir kya hua. He asked to ishita and she start narrating the next set of event happened with her.
