After anchoring Fame Gurukul, Manav Gohil is returning to acting. The actor is currently shooting for the promos of Shrishti Behl Arya's Remix. "I liked the character because it has shades of grey, and I found the script interesting."

Manav is playing Professor Mitra in Remix. Shrishti and Manav are brainstorming on his look for the serial. "I will be mostly dressed in black. But I also want to do something fun with my look. We are looking at using coloured lenses and stuff, lets see what works out."
Mitra is like Prof Snape in Harry Potter
On her decision to cast Manav, producer Shrishti says, "Manav has always been known as a good boy. With Remix, that will change. Mitra will be on the lines of Professor Snape in Harry Potter. You don't know for sure if he's good or bad, only time will tell."
Life after Fame Gurukul
Now that Fame Gurukul is over, will Manav start taking on more work? "Not really. I already have Remix, which will keep me busy. I don't want to sign too many shows. I am getting offers, but I would rather wait for something exciting to come my way." On his Fame experience he says, "It was a huge challenge to be live, and yet entertain at the same time. I learnt a lot there. If I had a choice I too would've chosen Rex and Ruprekha as the winning Jodi."
We were approached for Nach Baliye
How come Manav and his wife — Shweta Kawaatra are not a part of Nach Baliye? "We were asked to be a part of the show but Fame was on its peak at that time, so there was no way I could spare the dates. I haven't got enough time to watch the show, but most of the contestants are my close friends, so it's difficult to vote for anyone in particular."
Manav will make an entry on Remix around November 16.
