I have to say I'm really surprised because she always appeared to me to be success driven, very ambitious and I was under the impression that she won't stop until she fulfills everything ( NA, hollywood career ect).

What about Hollywood ?

Is she just going to take the Kajol, Madhuri route and do a film once in a blue moon ?

Back pain and planning her wedding can't be enough of a reason of her laid back attitude : Anushka did that and she is still very focused and determined career-wise.

Sonam is also preping her wedding and she has four releases this year and will be shooting two movies ...

This is really intriguing.

I think even during Ram-Leela shooting she did have a lot of back pain. In one of the behind-the-scenes Video it was mentioned...
I hope she take all the rest she needs and cure it out.
