Sahil's love is built on respect!! we know and can see this and today he said it all... and he was heartbroken to be called Stalker.
He also addresses and gives respect by still calling her Vedikaji, and the only time he has called her Vedika, is when he talking from his pov... Meri Vedika se pyaar hai dialogue in the confession scene.
I intially thought why did the show not have a Holi song sequence because i found the apt song for Sahil to Vedika... 'Tum Tak' from Raanjhaana suited the situation here and words.
But what we got was one intense scene... between Sahil and Vedika! And wow... filled with emotions and heartbreak for both of them! Whilst Sahil's heartbreak is visible to see, Vedika's is very much deep rooted... and she keeps inside, holding it in.
Vedika says she wants to live with Izzat and Maryada.
Do i think Vedika crossed a line in callng him a stalker... Yes! And then assuming that he wants her for her body... which was extreme but i think she just went with it, as she was getting angry and frustrated. Deep down Vedika knows it isnt true... but how else can she get through to him that he keeps coming back to her each time and day! And then the bhaag business, he wanted her to get drunk but doesnt realise what they will do to her and what people will say if she acts like that.
Vedika also pushed his button in calling him a stalker... which hurt him, but as Vedika says that this one word hurt you, imagine how she felt when ppl called her names and daily taunting her. Though the difference is when the one you love calls you a name, it hurts 10x times more then a stranger.
At this point... Naniji has either had some bhaag or she finally just wants to see Vedika married off and living a life etc... then being single hence accepted her and Sahil.
Sahil's mom Anjana definitely looked like she was either drunk on her meds or bhaag, but the first time i saw her speaking up to Badi Amma
I felt for Sahil when he came back home to his family... to admit defeat and say hey guess what you all won... You all thought my love was on the verge of stalking-ness, well Vedika called it that now!
Loved Vedika standing up to Badi Amma... and still remaining doing so with respect in her words and actions. And Vedika is right... why does Badi Amma not tell her son to leave this city and so on. How dare she come there and insult her and lay down the law.
Precap - I am just disgusted with Badi Amma. And i am heartbroken for Vedika... because her respect and diginity means the world to her (esp for a woman her age, and a woman who is widow, and with a child). And now this... i cant imagine how much this will break her.
At this point i rather Sahil cut his ties with Badi Amma.. because this is going too far... degrading Vedika to this level.
