I know it's of no use to restart the topic since everyone peacefully ended it.But I couldn't help but post this after I read the discussion/argument in the topic properly😆
1.Let's calculate the number of mistakes which each character has done so far.
Anusuya
i).Takshashila Fiasco
ii).Occasional bouts of impulsiveness
Puru
i)Jumping to conclusions without understanding the matter
ii).Occasional bouts of impulsiveness(Like Mom Like Son)
Bamni
i).Ditching Anusuya after marrying her for his so called revenge.
ii).Handing over Paurav Rashtra on a platter to Darius
iii).Remaining oblivious to the plight of the citizens who are his responsibility
iv).Remaining unaware of illegal activities like human trafficking going on his kingdom
v).Passive approach to Ripudaman's death who did a huge sacrifice for him
vi).Blindly believing Darius over Anusuya.
Therefore if there was a university for committing blunders and mistakes then Bamni would be the Viru Sahasrabuddhe of that university whereas Anusuya and Puru won't even be Chatur Ramlingam.
Anusuya has been criticised for being too 'mahan' and Puru has been criticised for being a 'filmy hero' but I can confidently say the neither of them sold their brains to Farsi Raddi Waala😛
Yes there have been a few moments where they have acted as emotional fools but apart from that they never lost their presence of mind in dire circumstances as compared to Dumbomini.
Yes Puru has considered Bamni as a villain and he has a proper reason to do so.When did Bamni try to prove himself as a good king?From a common man's perspective,Bamni was totally incompetent as a King.
From a king's view,he willingly shut his eyes to the public and believed whatever Shivdutt/Darius told him.So just give me one reason as to why Puru should respect him?
2.I just wanted to ask what is wrong with being a particular actor's fan? All of us have our favourites and we watch stuff for them.Being an actor's fan doesn't make us blind or insensible.
A fan watches the show with the same eyes as a general viewer and he/she understands the show equally well.It's just that fans want to see more of their favs and it's natural.
An actor's fan is not less intelligent than any other viewer.For instance I am Rohit's fan and due to him Alex is my favorite character.If his character commits a genuine mistake then I will never justify it.However I won't tolerate him getting bashed for stupid and non existent reasons too.
Everything said and done undermining someone's opinion by calling them a 'blind fan of the actor' is totally unacceptable.
