Plz all tweet to SP about hotstar

Guys, I'm really concerned about the trp's of our show. Sp keep uploading the episodes earlier on hotstar before the actual episode goes on air, so no doubt people end up watching online on hotstar as opposed to tv because they get to watch it early. Plz guys, we need to bring this to SP's attention if we want to save our show. This hotstar premium service and early uploading/viewing of episodes is hurting the show's ratings. So please tweet to SP about stopping them uploading the episodes on hotstar earlier than the actual air time. Plz spread the word on insta too.

"Star plus is a big brand and as any viewer I would have thought that you would have an experienced Business Development team and a good creative team. But, off late from all the news I hear, it looks like you don't. Firstly, it is very evident that you have 2 long running shows YRKKH & YHM that are ruling the TRP charts not because they have good storylines, but they have some viewers from the older age groups who stick to their TV's to watch these shows...If you ask me, both these shows clearly have extremely regressive content...Come on we live in the 21st Century!!! But...but...but...that doesn't concern me at all...Let those shows gain more TRP's & run for another 10 years.

The bit that I am concerned about is that you have a digital platform called Hotstar...owned and managed by you...and on top of that you have Premium memberships for hotstar...and then you upload your episodes hours before they are aired on TV...and then you expect TRP's for shows that you know for sure are youth based shows! How stupid is that!!!

Even a 15 year old can tell you the reason behind you losing the top position as a channel! Shows like YRKKH & YHM are watched by older generations who don't use digital platforms and shows like Naamkarann and Ishqbaaz etc are mostly watched by younger audience and hence on hotstar! Ofcourse they will not bother to sit through 30 mins again to watch it on TV...why would they??? As I said, I live in the UK and there are websites that I can access from here that uploads Naamkaran episodes right at 1pm UK time...obviously they get it from Hotstar in India.

First of all, please either remove premium membership on Hotstar OR atleast stop uploading episodes on Hotstar before they air on TV...Its a sincere request. Premium membership can still be used by people who watch premium movies and other shows on Hotstar. Ofcourse you cant have your cake and eat it too - You want people paying in for premium memberships and want TRP's too...thats not possible! Do a switch over for sometime and analyse which option is fetching you more money :)"

Well worded email that hit the nail right on the head. 👏 Please can you give me their email address so I can also give them a piece of my mind on this issue? 😆 I also request others to follow suit on addressing this issue to SP via email and twitter. We need to get it into SP's head that hotstar premium membership and early uploading of episodes via HS is the cause of low trp's as why do people want to watch it on tv again when they have already seen the episode on hotstar.
