very good friends. However, Abhishek is
responsible for Karan's dislikeness for the
festival of colours, i.e. Holi.
As reported by a leading tabloid, Karan
shared his childhood
experience he had during the festival of
colours. The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director
said, "When I was seven, the kids in my
colony ran behind me to put silver colour
paint on me. Trying to save myself, I fell
down and got hurt, and ended up in a fight
with the other kids."
Karan then revealed what happened when
he had gone to Amitabh Bachchan's house
to play Holi when he was 10.
The director said, "I fondly remember
visiting Amitji's house for Holi when I was
10. I told him why I feared the festival so
much. That's when Abhishek came inside
the room, picked me up and threw me in a
pool of coloured water. That was the end of
my love for Holi and I haven't played ever
since."
Meanwhile, Karan's film Welcome To New
York released last week. However, the film
didn't perform well at the box office.
KJo is a proud father of twins Yash and
Roohi. In an interview with us, when he was
asked about how being a father to Yash
Johar and Roohi Johar for over a year has
changed Karan, he stated to us, "Well, it
hasn't changed me, it just made me happier.
If that's a change, then that's a welcome
change. I m just happier and much more
satisfied with my existence."
KJo added, "It's given me a big reason to live
with a certain amount of energy and vigour
for the next three decades of my life. I can't
wait to see my children grow up around me,
with me and for me."
