The untimely demise of veteran actor Sridevi
has sent shockwaves in the industry.
Devastated family members are still in
disbelief about the news of her passing
away.
Sridevi along with Boney Kapoor and
daughter Khushi were in the UAE to attend
Mohit Marwah and Antra Motiwala's
wedding. However, Boney and Khushi flew
back to the city after attending the wedding.

Boney Kapoor had then again flown back to
Dubai to surprise Sridevi. The actor had not
responded to repeated knocks on her
bathroom and was found motionless in the
bathtub by Boney Kapoor, as per reports.
Politician Amar Singh, who is a family friend
of the Kapoors, has revealed that Boney
Kapoor shared the first news of death with
him. He told a leading news channel,
"Bhabhi is no more, he told me. I think
Boney made the first call to me that night.''

A source told the channel that the call was
made a little after midnight, in the very early
hours of Sunday morning. 12.40am IST to be
precise.
When asked what else transpired in that
phone call, Amar Singh said, "There was no
scope to talk further at all. That was the kind
of situation it was.

Talking about the tragic incident, Amar
Singh said, 'It's a terrible situation. I have no
words to express what I feel. One day we
were all together dancing at a wedding and
now this news comes in.
Amar Singh added, "Sridevi was doing very
well. Their films were doing very well. They
had no loans and had cleared all their
outstandings. What has happened is just
tragic.
