Anushka is travelling from Chicago to Denver for her wedding with Virat. Dr. Hippo is scheduled to take the same flight for a scientific meeting. The flight is cancelled due to possible storm in the way. The airline offers both of them a ticket and 10 voucher for Burger King. Anushka notices that Dr. Hippo was in a hurry as well. He wanted to go soon. She offers him a ride as she has charted a plane. Dr. Hippo agrees
Wedding preparations are underway.
Why cant bollywood make such movies..instead of clowns dancing as khali bhali ho gaya hai dil.
Plane captain is a bevada who said do not worry. I will take you there. I am from the area so I can dodge the storm. The bevada remained sober and weather did not cause problem. However bevada develops a stroke and plane loses balance over the mountains of Colorado. The dum of plane crashes into a mountain and back part detaches. Half plane is now flying with no tail. It crashes on top of mountain.
Captain parlog sadhar giya. Anushka is injured. Dr. Hippo wakes up and treats her leg. She cant walk properly. Anushka is worried about her marriage. As she has missed the date. There is no life at top of mountain. Just a harsh weather. They survive inside the half plane. Dr. Hippo suggest that someone wi ll come here looking for plane. Anushka suggest no we should go down. However they remain there for 3 days. Dr Hippo takes care of her..treats her. Bevada's dog survived the crash as well. ALl 3 of them are waiting. A plane passes by and they setup a flare but no one notices
Anushka is frustrated and asks Hippo to go and check. They cant stay. No one is coming. Hippo goes to for a walk and climbs a peak. back in plane a cougar attacks the plane. Dog puts up a fight and is injured. Anushka shoots the cougar with flare gun and tapkaos her. Cougar now becomes their dinner for next 10
Both of them along with the dog then descend from the mountain. A journey of 30+ days walking down hill. Living in caves. Surviving on cougar. Drinking snow water. They cant see anything They dont know where they are going. One day the ice breaks and anushka drowns but Dr. hippo saves her.
Same day he happens to find a cabin as well. It is an abandoned cabin though. They find a shelter with 2 cans of food. Hippo gets wood and ignites heat. However this is not the solution. They need to find a road somewhere. As this cabin also is still somewhere far.
Anushka fells in love with Hippo. What he has done for her. She was injured and could have left her alone. But he did not leave...carried her..fed her..treated her. She could not resist his handsome charm ..she gives in and hugs Hippo and kisses him all over. Hippo resists and says you are about to get married with Virat in Denver. But its too late..
After the hanky panky, she asks Hippo to go alone ...she cant be burden. She says dont tell anyone what happened between us. Just go..Hippo leaves...after one mile he runs back and says I cant leave you. She says I will be burden again. But Hippo says no problem.
They again start a journey...few days passed. Harsh weather. Almost dies...weak.
Dog then finds something. But Anushka is too weak now and is dying. Hippo puts her on a slate and pulls her...they are moving towards the town. When they are near...Hippo is trapped in some trap laid for bear I think. He cant move..his legs are legcuffed. Anushka runs like mad and calls for help.
Hippo wakes up in the hospital along with Anushka. Hippo goes in her room and is about to give her a hug and Virat enters. He thanks Hippo for everything. Anushka seems a bit low too. Hesitant. Hippo is shaken...he excuses himself and goes far far away

Anushka calls Hippo but he does not pick her phone. He did not want to intervene in marriage. He ignores her. Then one day Anushka sends picture of the journey and requests a meeting. Hippo gets emotional and agrees to attend phone. They meet in Times Square and share memories. She tells him that she did not marry Virat as things were not the same. Yet she was not ready to be in relationship with Hippo as well. Hippo said we survived because you were in love with me (ok he said we both were in love) but do whats best. Anushka wanted to kiss Hippo but he keeps a distance. They both leave in opposite direction
As Anushka and Hip are moving away. Anushal starts crying. Hippo not crying but feels restless. They are moving away ... suddenly Anushka turns back and runs and runs and sees Hippo coming towards her as well..she falls into his arms..scene cuts ..move ends
This is a story of Movie mountain between us. A black surgeon ...white photographer...and their journey. I replaced it with Hippo and Anushka
