Very, very saddened to hear about actor, Sri Devi's death. She was a really talented actress dominating South and later North for a good period of time with excellent performances, a good dancer and versatile actor. Hope her family stay strong and let her soul rest in peace.😭

Very sad she passed away. She was a brilliant actress in all languages but I loved her in tamil and telugu movies. Moondram pirai (sadma in hindi) was a great movie. She and Kamalahasan were a beautiful pair. She didn't deserve to die this young. May her soul rest in peace.

Still can't believe this!
Mom had a poster of hers in our home ever since I was born and her face was the first thing I used to see for last 20 years and today woke up to this news.
I loved her with Kamal and Rajini...the golden trio of Tamil Cinema.
Just now saw kamal's video for her, it was so heart breaking.
Jhanvi's film is releasing this year na. The poor girls...may God give the family the strength to handle her loss.
RIP mayilu :(

I liked her in English vinglish. She was so natural as a naive, yet strong woman in an alien country. Her eyes literally spoke when her voice was silent.RIP.What a way to go .surrounded by near and dear ones in a festive atmosphere.

Such sad news !!! A beautiful life, cut short. She spoke with her eyes, I love Lamhe the best in her movies, not that I watched a lot of them. Hope the kids have the strength to endure..., they just lost their fiercest advocate
