After a week. Everything was going fine by now. Shaurya was fine with her. Sometimes he would get really annoyed of her and would scold her. One day he really scolded her for making black coffee when he was not on the mood to drink coffee. Mehek had thought that he liked black coffe because he was really health conscious and Awara also told her so. But he threw the mug away and the coffe fell on the floor. He would get annoyed of her very easily. Sometimes mehek was scared and of him.
One day Mohit messaged her
Hi di how are you
I am fine how are you
I am fine too I just miss you
Why what happened that you remembered me
Nothing just saw a dustbin lying
Yoouuu! I will see you when I come there.

She had just replied when Shaurya came from the back and pulled her phone from her hand.
"Shaurya what is wrong with you? She said while tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.
"Just let me see who you are talking to and laughing this loud. Mehek folded her arms and looked at him.
He checked her phone and saw an "I miss you message. He did not read the senders name. He just got angry after reading that message.
"Whom are you missing? Have you found someone better than me.
"What! Mehek was shocked to hear it.
Mehek got really angry and pushed him away. She got the phone from his hand and showed him that it was Mohit who had called her. He feels really embarrassed. He just leaves the place.
She left white chillies and went back to KM. Dolly massi was sitting in the living room. She saw her tensed and came to ask her the reason for this. She told her about Shaurya. Dolly massi suggested that she should fight back. Then mehek says that she is afraid of Shaurya. Then dolly massi says that she should drink one peg. She will be able to say what is in her heart easily. She thinks to try her idea. Dolly massi brings the drink. She tries taking a sip. It was really bitter. She makes faces. Dolly massi encourages her and she gulps down the whole drink. She starts coughing badly after drinking it. She then asks the driver to take her to white chillies. She was not in her senses.
In the restaurant. It was time to close the restaurant. Everybody had left. Shaurya was still there. Suddenly mehek came there. She closed the door behind her with the keys and threw the keys away.suddenly the lights went out and They disappeared in the dark.
"What the hell!Shaurya shouted. "Who is there?
"It's me, mr Khanna your wife who you barely trust. She said loudly and started coughing. Maybe it was not a nice decision to have a drink.
"Mehek what are you doing here. He took out his phone and turned out the light and started searching for her. He headed towards her coughing sound.
"Shaurya she said and started coughing and was unable to complete her sentence.
"Wait! It's an important call. He placed his phone near his ear but mehek pulled it out of his hands and threw it away.
"Shaurya *cough* we need to talk.
"What is the problem ? What do you want to say? Shaurya said annoyed.
"I wanted to say that*cough* I am not going stay quite anymore. We are in a relationship*cough* and there is trust in a relationship but I don't think you trust me she was that tally out of breathe when she said that. Her condition was worsening.
Before Shaurya replied to anything she fainted and fell into his arms. He patted her cheek in order to wake her up but to no avail. He carefully placed her in a sofa nearby and sprinkled some water. She did not wake up. Mehek please wake up. Please. I'm sorry. Please don't do this.
He tried to find his car keys but was not able to due to darkness. He hugged her tightly. He placed her ear on her chest and felt her heartbeat. He placed her head on the sofa. There was only one way to bring her back to senses. He opened her mouth by holding her chin and gave a mouth to mouth to her.
Her body made a slight movement and Shaurya parted. He poked at her and again patted her cheek. She had gained conscious but not completely. Suddenly the lights came back. He immediately picked her up and took her to home. It was nearly midnight. He had already phoned a doctor as he had realised that she was having very high fever.
Shaurya came into the room with her in his arms. She was deliberately placed on the bed. He removed her heel and covered the upper half her c her b day with the blanket. The doctor had arrived by that time. She checked her and prescribed some medicine. Shaurya sent Awara to bring the medicine. He removed his jacket and placed it on the corner of the bed. He went and later down beside her. He made her eat the medicine and put a cloth on her head soaked in cold water. He slept by her side. Karuna who had woken up to drink some water saw this scene and was really happy.
The next morning Mehek woke up. Her head was really heavy and she was feeling dizzy. She realised what she had yesterday and thought that how could she be such a fool and then remembered of how Shaurya brought her back to senses. Then Shaurya came in with a tray in his hands. He came near her wished good morning and handed her a glass of milk and some sandwiches.
"How are you feeling now? He asked touching her forehead.
"Better. She said.
"Drink this fast and take your medicine.he ordered.
"No I will not. I hate milk.
Shaurya glared at her angrily and she drank the milk without saying anything. Shaurya then gave her medicine. He stayed at home for the full day and took care of her.
One month had passed by. Everything had changed. Mehek and Shaurya were working on their friendly relationship. Anybody could just tell that Shaurya was changing a lot. When he is near her he is calm and polite but when she is not around he gets mad at everyone. He keeps mehek infront of him all the time. When she is not there in front of his eyes he feels restless.
Maybe a friend was all that Shaurya Khanna needed to change. He would tell mehek everything about his day at work. It was like a mutual relationship. He too started to have feelings for her but he was not sure of them. Sometimes they would have fights too. He would lash out at her but later they used to sit and sort out their fights like a mature couple.
They spent most of their time at white chillies. Mehek was a great cook and he was a great businessman. He taught mehek how to deal with the accounts and mehek taught him to cook some of her mothers recipes. They enjoyed being with each other.
One day a very renowned businessman came to white chillies for his daughters wedding and Shaurya was not there. Mehek handled them and made them taste some food which she made herself. She cracked the deal and it was worth crores. Shaurya was really happy to know this. He came in and hugged her.
"Wow Mehek I am really happy. All thanks to you.
"No need I learnt all this business from you.
"I want to give you reward for this. Let's go for a movie tonight .
"Wow!! That's a nice payback option.
She was really happy that day.
Later that night they went for a movie. Shaurya had booked the ticket and she had no idea which movie they were going to watch. It was raining that night.
"Do you still want to go? It's raining she said with a slight frown.
"Yes rain makes it more enjoyable
He smiled and came near her. He handled her with care. He placed his hand on the small of her back and guided her to the car.
That reached the theatre. Shaurya had bought her to watch the movie "Fifty Shades Freed. Mehek was really uncomfortable. "Eww! Shaurya I didn't knew you watched these kinds of movies. She said with a cringe and looked away from the screen. Shaurya laughed at her and said that they could leave the theatre if she doesn't like the movie. She immediately got up and left from the place. Shaurya was behind her when he got an urgent call and went aside to talk.
Mehek was outside waiting for him. Suddenly someone kept a hand on her shoulder. She turned around and saw that it was her old childhood friend Zoya. She hugged her and greeted her. She was wearing a jeans and a hoodie. Shaurya saw mehek talking to someone. He went near Zoya and pulled her abruptly by her arm. He apologised when he saw that it was a girl and Mehek's friend. Mehek looked at him confusingly. Some people surrounded Shaurya for he pulled Zoya and talked to her rudely.She was angry at him. She left the place and did not wait for him.
It was raining and she was hopelessly walking on the roads. Shaurya had bought his car and was searching for her after he ran from the people there. He found her on an empty road away from the mall. It was an isolated place. He stopped the car and ran out and held her wrist. "Mehek !stop. Where are you going? You'll get sick.
"When did you care about me Shaurya? Who am I to you? She asked him still not making eye contact.
"I care dammit because you are my... he was confused what to say my wife. He said.
"Oh I am your wife now. Sometimes I am your friend, sometimes your wife and sometimes your nobody "
Suddenly it thundered and Shaurya realised that the weather is worsening they should leave for home.
"We will talk about it later. Just sit in the car it's raining. He was starting to get angry. His mood changed really fast.
"No I am not going with you.
"Ok then. I will take you with me. He picked her up on her shoulder and she screamed to let her go. He made her sit in the car and belted her. He started driving. After reaching a little further they got to know that due to the weather there had been a landslide and the road is blocked. He asked the officer told them that there is only one way and that is from the highway but some work is going on that too so they would have to stay on a hotel. The officer also told about a hotel nearby.
They went to the hotel and luckily found a room. In the room. Mehek entered the room and threw her purse harshly on the bed and folded her arms and avoided looking at Shaurya. He laughed at her antics. He then remembered that mehek catches cold easily. So he asked her to change into the hotel bathrobe. She says "no need to care about me.
Shaurya rolls his eyes. He then lost the fire in the fireplace. He stands up and starts unbuttoning his shirt slowly. Mehek was watching him remove his shirt and how that wet cotton material defines his abs. She was looking at her and suddenly sneezed. Mehek thinks that she should change. She went to the washroom and put on the bathrobe. It was very short. It just ended till her thighs. She came out wearing that. Shaurya was standing there shirtless. He saw her in that bathrobe and his jaw dropped open. She tried to pull the truck be down when she felt his gaze on her. He came towards her. "What are you doing?stay away. She said.
Shaurya came more closer and pinned her to the wall. He came too close to her that it made difficult for her to breathe. She kept her hands on his chest. She was not able to say anything.
"Do you hear a drum beating? She asked him mischievously. It was Shaurya's heartbeat. It rose when he was around her.
Shaurya smiled at her question and just slammed his lips into her without thinking anything. Mehek didn't pull away put she was drowned into the kiss. He sucked her lower lip and then the upper one. His hand reached for the knot of the robe.
