Not sure what was his name, because in most probability even Porus wasnt name Puru or Purushotam, his name was Parvatak, but was called as PuruRaj as he was the king of Paurav Rajya, so it might be that his younger brother was called Laghu PuruRaj or the chhota Puru Raj
About missing characters, even Ripudaman was missing from the major scene of confrontation to Kadika and Hasti ka to kehna hi kya

But atleast Kanishka to tha, kam se kam uska to dhang ka reaction dikhaana chahiye tha

We actually dont know his actual name but Parvatak is most widely accepted.

but whatever be his name, he was called PuruRaj as he was the king of Paurav Rashtra and not as a nickname from Purushottam, (back then people didnt give their rules nick name)

There r many theory about it , atleast there was a poras. If u seen chandranandini serial there poras was shown as diff king & parvatak was shown as diff king.

Chandranandni was a complete work of fiction, it was i guess declared to be a historical fiction. Nandani isnt any historical character, Unlike what was shown in that, Chandragupta loved Durdhara and she was his chief queen, he married Helena (which is again a fictional name of his Greek queen) a few years before his death by when Durdhara was already dead for years. The background of Chandragupta given in that show too didnt have any historical backing, so we can not go by that proof about the authenticity of history

There was no Porus for sure in India as that was a Greek name of some Indian king, This king could have been Purushottam or Parvatak or something else, plus there could be some other king with similar name who isnt famous in history, because back then there were 16 Janpads so there were around 12-13 other kings excluding Dhananand, Paurav Naresh (be he be Puroshottam or Parvatak) and AmbiRaj.

Yes chandranandini was totally frictional, nandini's character traits was taken by durdhara's real characteristics, but there they show blunder of parvatak & poras 2 diff king, even malayketu sided cgm against dhananad but that he was shown wrong.
