"Bhu!" Adi with a face of a kid "Your dishes are the best after my mother's!" As he was sitting opposite to Chakor with her father who was standing on the side with a happy smile which reached his eyes.
Both the woman around the table agreed with a 'Yeah' and nothing more.
"I figure that there is a lot more to celebrate as my baby girl is back in town!" The old man said, side hugging his daughter.
"And here is something else to celebrate too!" Tina announced as she pulled out her cellophane and touched few things as a screen flashed showing the picture of the Prince oups King of Canamaris along with the title 'A King For Real' and she added "Your article has broke 20K likes!"
"Hey! That's terrific!" Her father with proud visible in his eyes.
"Papa! It's really not that many!" She said bending her head as flashed of the past moments with him flashed in front of her.
"What are you talking Sunshine? You only posted it three days ago!" He said trying to make her understand that it is a big thing.
"This thing is going to catch fire!" Her other friend added.
"And until you become rich and famous, you will always get a job here, with your Papa!" Her dad in a joking way which made her chuckle.
"I know!" She hugged her dad while still sitting in front of her friends.
With a thudding sound on the metal part of the glass combined wall, the quarto turned to find three men there making Chakor friends' to smile wide.
"Hey!" Tina as she waved from inside and the three men waved back.
"Those would be our dates!" Ado said as he got up.
"Alright then!" The old man started "You guys go and have fun! Huh?" He finished looking at his daughter and left from there to carry on his work.
"So who is the third guy?" Chakor asked as she got up along with her friend.
"Just thus hottie named Mike!" Ado replied.
"Not any setup!" The other lady added.
"I'm not coming out guys!" Chakor said with giving nothing with her expression.
"Seriously?" Tina "You are going to stay at home on a New Year's Eve?"
"I just wanna help Papa do some cleaning and then do some writings!" She sincerely said even if it is not the only reason for not going out.
"How about we check you back later Sunshine!"
"May be drag you out for after parties!" With a wink.
"Not gonna happen!" She said it simply with a plastered smile.
"Are you sure you are gonna be okay Sunshine?" She was questioned with a side hug from her friend.
She just nodded her head in reply and then hugged Tina "Have fun!"
"Okay!" Both replied in sync as the exited the restaurant.
"Oh my god! I can't wait to hit up the new club this night!" Tina screamed from outside as her friends disappeared from there along with their dates.
Chakor wearing her uniform, picked the plates one by one and got it to the cleaning area.
Then went back to their table and collected the glasses.
Her father in the mean tine turned on the channel in the TV for the New Year Celebration where a music concert was showed with the crowd cheering, whistling and dancing.
Man in the TV announced "Less than five mins till we ring in this New Year, Ladies and Gentlemen!" And a round of cheers not only echoed in the television but inside the restaurant too as Chakor's father arranged few drinks for his regular clients.
"That means it's time to pour the champagne!" taking a bottle from the counter and facing the small crowd of people there, he asked "Who wants champagne?"
And few people screamed "We need! We need!"
"You are the best Bhu!" someone said and others hummed as clinking of glasses echoed that place with Chakor's father enjoying his customer's happiness.
Hearing the cheers and screams, Chakor who was standing near the table and cleaning it, turned to see the happy face of her father and automatically a smile formed reaching her eyes this time.
And suddenly a thudding sound of a small stone hitting the metal part, outside of their restaurant took her attention as she turned back to the glass windows and stilled in her place with what she saw there, outside of the restaurant.
The king, king of Canamaris, standing alone in the road with a happy smile as he looked at her shocked face.
