That being said, the point this article brings up is true. When a man becomes a national crush, other men get angsty and offended. They criticize the man crush and tear him down. But that's passed off as run off the mill rivalry. But when women dislike a female national crush it is used to criticize women as a whole and paint them as jealous catty people always tearing each other down.
