Two days back my news feed was full of pictures of our new internet sensation Priya Prakash with captions reading "National crush of India", "Cutest smile ever" etc and now her pictures still prevail with new captions where other girls who happen to dislike the unnecessary attention she's getting, is humiliated and referred to as 'jealous creatures' just because they refused to join the "Hail Priya Prakash" campaign.

If I remember correctly two years back when girls had this same craze about Pakistani actor Fawad Khan the boys who are now shaming other girls had same problems in accepting the fact that most girls in our country actually went gaga over this actor and for good reasons too. Fawad didn't make his way to our hearts just by winking or wiggling his eyebrows but by establishing the fact that he is a good actor. Boys had difficulty in coping with that craze back then and few even commented some Kashmiri truck drivers are more handsome than him.

But I don't remember how many times we thrashed or insulted them for not accepting the fact that Fawad is actually worthy of getting our attention.

Girls are NOT jealous of other girls. A few months back when ManushiChillar became Miss World and the whole country celebrated her victory there was overwhelming amount of wishes and support from all the girls. Because Manushi did bring glory to our country and we were immensely proud of her as an Indian and as a woman.

So I would request people to stop spreading this message that we girls are jobless and are fuming with jealousy over some internet star. Her smile obviously is ethereal and she is young. And I believe she will give us better reasons to make her famous in the near future. And it is you who is jobless and are busy making memes, we have enough jobs in our pockets to keep us occupied.

One last thing, to the people who are constantly comparing her with some of our prominent actresses. Success and fame were not served to them on a platter. So before comparing please keep in mind they earned their position, you people didn't give it to them unlike some.

Just because someone does not like a person does not mean they are jealous.

I happen to think she is cute though!

The typical guy thing to make women's opinions about other women vain is to declare them jealous 🤣

I remember discussing with a friend of mine how I liked Sush better than Ash (this was during late 90s) and she told me how she had expressed the same opinion in front of her male friends and they'd declared her jealous of Ash's divine beauty. Lol .. I couldn't believe that. And the worst part, just to keep her guy friends away from speaking shit about her, my friend actually started appreciating Ash more. For no rhyme or reason. Sick.

+1. I also like her and don't understand why this is made to be such a big deal. There is no need to analyze who doesn't like her for what reason, let it go and move on. 😆

Plus, guys need to be stop labeling women as "jealous," whenever they don't like a certain girl. Girls just like guys can have independent opinions without being "jealous," of the said person.

I don't think, she should be compared with fawad Khan actually. She is 18, the same age as most college girls. She did her job, she got fame, and people are swooning over her. Plus, an advantage, she is a newbie. And in the case of fawad Khan, although you may not have insult guys, there were a hell lot of girls who actually bashed them in the public posts, giving explanations, though that ain't our concern. And, Most Girls swooned over fawad Khan only when he actually became famous. It's actually quite tough to get fame when you are from the kollywood or tollywood industry, because they don't have a huge fan Base. There was something likeable about her, which is the reason why people believe her expressions were mashallah.
And, girls are highly jealous of other girls, it has been scientifically proved. I am damn sure, Manushi's counterparts in the femina platform were jealous of her when she won the award. It's natural actually.
