I liked how yesterday's episode demonstrated that marriage is a compromise. Both Dira realised and understood the other's side and decided to make their marriage work. They understood that marriage requires equal partnership. For marriage is a partnership based on trust and love.
Moreover, I loved how yesterday's episode emphasised that marriage is an equal partnership. Some of it was more obvious like Dira adjusting the volume and arguing over food. Marriage is about understanding each other's needs and wants and adapting. Sometimes you give in, sometimes your partner has to.

Moreover, Diya started calling Ratan by his name finally. For she is no longer his pehredaari, but his wife. This promises a shift towards a more personal relationship as husband and wife. Both are no longer bound by duty, but by the intimate relationship of husband and wife.

On the other hand, some of the examples of equal partnership were more subtle like Diya taking over the role of driving the car after awhile. Though this seems minute, this is a refreshing change for in how many serials do we see a wife driving her husband around? Usually in serials, either the husband or a driver drives the female lead around. Actually, it seems as though many female leads forget how to drive after marriage! 😆 I like this dynamics and I really hope this is maintained till the end.
