you are right...

there is no way to ban any serial or film or book based on content...

supreme court also again and again told -it is against banning any content...---

freedom of speech and freedom of expression is constitution given fundamental right--intolerance towards content and trying to curtail freedom of speech /expression is unacceptable--

this is SC told in cases of 5 movies in recent past--one for movie indu sarkar --one for movie padmawat --one for movie udtha punjab -one for malayalam movie s.durga -one for bengali movie..

asking to change content is better than ban show because if in banning any thing lot of people in production unit are with out bread and butter

it is easy to ask to ban show but in banning show lot of people r left with out bread and butter

so I would prefer to change the content instead of banning show

many people threatened if padmavat release they will commit suicide but supreme Court strictly told Kisi haal mein padmavat ban nahi hogi

Totally agree on this. Even I had written similar things in some other post.

But in this case, Mittals come across as repeat offenders. They already faced one huge controversy in form of PPK. Still they didn't learn a lesson from it.. Even for DSDT, there are many non-fans, neutral viewers lately on social media who are raising their voices against the current track which is promoting illegal, unnatural things. The biggest problem with this track (and Mittals problem in general TBH) is that the show is glorifying and sensationalizing bizarre things instead of handling them with sensitivity. But both the PH and the channel are still too adamant on forcing the tracks down viewers throat, just because it is making money for them. What should we do as viewers in this case? I hope the channel atleast fears of losing its reputation (which they have already done courtesy all their so called social issues related shows going saas bahu way) and mends its ways regarding this track!

Agree with all of the above comments too.

This show must be the sole way to earning for many of the production people and also actors.

And like Rajh has said freedoms of speech and expression is everyone's rights and this kinda entertainment comes under the freedom of creativity which is synonymous to expressing. Thus plainly asking them to not show this or ban it may not be right.

But since we have objection related to this unlawful , disgusting content, which belittles women and their rights, they can change the script to a more acceptable way like how they did with PPK...

Why can't they portray this dilchasp rishta which they're obsessed in glorifying in a different but acceptable way rather shoving new age polygamy under the pretext of dilchasp nonsense down our throats!!

Infact if they'd made either of the women walk out of parth's kife for a few years n then comeback after a while, and then if they were forced to live together for some societal pressures related or for the safety issues It'd have better. But this is surely not.

if mittal has some brain and really worry that if dsdt ban then people of production will loose bread and butter .mittal will surely change content

otherwise those people of production of dsdt will loose bread and butter due to stupid decision of mittal

if mittal change content and show meaning ful thing then lot of people in production house will not loose bread and butter as well as viewer will be spare from watching immoral illegal thing and viewer will chance to meaning ful thing .

so both viewer and production house will be in benefit if production house change meaning less content into meaningful content instead of banning show

actually biggest power is in hands of viewers---- that is remote control...

viewers can make or break serial..

viewers can force makers and channels to change content and story...

actually viewers resistance for surrogacy theme forced makers to change there focus from surrogacy in the case of DSDT..

until amans entry show never able to get decent trp -- so afterwards makers decided to shift story towards teni and serial started to gain popularity...

so its trp which will decide future storyline also--

and looks like people are happy with current storyline as per this week trp---

but crucial is next two week trp---if next two weeks also trp remains high then...- threesome story will continue forever...

Beg to differ with you here.. The TRPs didn't come with Aman's entry. The show used to get decent TRPs before Aman's entry too. The all time high TRPs actually started to come with the baby's entry. The first time TRPs crossed 2 was during the baby birth. And unfortunately now the viewers have got used to watch the show plus the competition is very weak, so that TRP is being maintained with small fluctuations.

Before the baby track, many times the show got TRPs upto 1.7-1.8 .. It got hampered during IPL and KBC, but it was never as high as it is now.

Viewers resistance about the surrogacy theme? When did the CVs showed a proper story around surrogacy that viewers will resist it? The entire pregnancy-miscarriage-surrogacy was shown in one month which was supposed to be the main story of the show. As a result they were left with nothing to show so they had to bring new characters and new tracks. Had the surrogacy been shown properly with appropriate amount of drama, it would have fetched TRPs too. But probably they were never interested in surrogacy. They were only interested in madam Teni's dramas, multiple marriages and bigamy. 🤢
