Defying Age old concept:Woman is not a trophy or object to be adorned

Since days of Mahabharata when a woman unwittingly was divided among 5 brothers by the mother or was knowingly gambled away in a game of dice she was made to think as object. Though then as well Draupadi was strong enough to question her husband's on what right they gambled her away or questioned elders.

I love the CVs for this message! In another show Neil and Avni would have caved to Vidyut's demands and objectified a woman while showing MU in another way thankfully they chose the route of nayi soch. Neil choosing to have his wife behind bars instead of handing her off like she were a toy was too good as was Avni's dialogues last night about how she is not a trophy. Vidyut needs to know that no means no, he cannot go to extremes and have Avni fall at his feet fulfilling his every demand. I love that Avni and Neil are not your typical leads the odds were against them yet they went to the extremes for each other, to keep the other safe instead of letting the villain win. Respect to the CVs for this! I wish more shows took this route instead of being regressive.

Agreed now we are going to see their love story all over again, one that Avni wanted to redo without deceit and revenge it started the night she took those pheras and consummated her marriage. I have hopes this leap is going to work for this show. It is going to be AvNeil's story.

This is the unique feature of NK which has made me addicted to it . If it were any other show FL would have married Vidyut . Here Avni has planned to destroy him and was trying to give him two cents . But Vidyut is a criminal who can't be redeemed at any cost . Like she said no uska maa ka nahi ho sakta wo mera kya kisi bhi aurat ka nahi ho sakta ! She was absolutely correct .

^ Good point, yes Neil put her behind bars but her impulsiveness played a role there too. This time around she has grown, she has evolved she carefully thought everything out and I love the direction CVs have taken this. It is just not that simple to put Vidyut behind bars, there is nothing tying him to Neela's death and he can always manipulate evidence so she needed to do something that would be the final nail in his coffin. I am happy she did not cave to his demands and found an alternative to protect her family

I have to agree that AVNI AYESHA is a wonderfully written character and kept true to its character essence since the beginning. If I may add, she is the strongest lead (male/female) I have ever seen since the good old days of doordarshan. Somebody who has her own mind and don't just let anyone walk over her.

The same thing what I like about Neil, which make him stand head and above other leads, he don't only love Avni unconditionally but he also values her individuality, gives her space & respect her views.

No matter how upset I am off late with the execution of tracks, But I will always praise the creatives & writers of Naamkarann for creating such strong and awesome characters which will remain with us even when shutter goes down, which is very rare in ITV.
