I got some time and it has been ages since I made a post so figured why not😆
Anyhow, the question is, is there a movie that really impressed you when you watched the first time but when you rewatched it, you were like, jeez was I an idiot to have liked this piece of crap?😆

Hera Pheri. Enjoyed it when I was younger and then happened to see it years later and didn't even laugh once. Thought the movie was absolutely horrible.

LOL it has to be Ready and Happy New Year! 😆😆😆

Liked both of these films, when they released. When I get to watch it again, I realised only SRK and Salman are the saving grace of this crap lol. 🤣

Kuch kuch hota hai. I loved the movie when I watched it after my board exams. When I watched it for the second time, I found it so crap.

Rock On.

The Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal characters are such emo crybabies. I still like Purab's character but overall the movie annoys me, especially Rampal's character's apathetic behaviour towards his family. He avoided all responsibility and constantly wallowed in misery because life handed him a few lemons.

Gadar... I loved the movie when I first watched it in theatre. But now I can't even watch it for 5 seconds while flipping channels. I was a kid back then when I watched it. So didn't realise how jingoistic the movie is. The movie looks so lame right now, and the handpump scene was cringe worthy
Another movie is Phir Hera Pheri. I laughed my guts out when I first watched the movie. But now I don't find it even remotely funny. The movie was such a big mess with so many sub-plots and characters, with same repeated jokes from Hera Pheri, and a never ending climax.

I watched Gadar for the first time some time ago and I could not for the life of me understand why on earth was it such a big hit

Haha.. The same reason why Bhai movies are Blockbusters.😆 Indian audience loves seeing massy movies. Also Gadar was a movie which can only be enjoyed in a packed theatre, with launda laphadas whistling and cheering at each and every dialogue of Sunny Deol.😆 It was the Baahubali of it's time.

The thing is that such movies don't age well.. They leave you questioning your akalmandi😆 And ironically most hit movies are such
