Queen, Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao
are set to reunite in Shailesh R Singh and
Ekta Kapoor's upcoming psychological
thriller.
As yet untitled, it will be directed by veteran
Tollywood filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao's
son Prakash Kovelamudi who will be making
his Bollywood debut with the film.
A source told a leading daily, "It's a fast-
paced thriller revolving around the two
protagonists. Set in London and Mumbai, it
is expected to roll in March. Raj recently
heard the script and immediately came on
board. Both Kangana and he are looking
forward to working with each other once
again.''
'The actor will start shooting after wrapping
up Shelly Dhar's Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa
Laga, which also features Anil Kapoor,
Sonam Kapoor and Juhi Chawla and Amar
Kaushik's horror-comedy Stree co-starring
Shraddha Kapoor. The film has been written
by Prakash's wife, writer Kanika Dhillon who
has earlier written the screenplay and
dialogue for the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer
Ra.One, Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath and
her husband's Anushka Shetty-starrer Tamil-
Telugu bilingual, Size Zero, added the
source.
During an earlier interview, when
Rajkummar was asked about Kangana, he
had said, ' "Kangana and I are really great
friends. We got along really well on the sets
of Queen. It's pretty easy to make her
happy."
Meanwhile, Kangana is currently filming
Krish's period-drama Manikarnika: The
Queen of Jhansi. As per reports in a leading
daily, the film has been postponed by four
months. Talking about it, a source had
stated to a leading daily, "Everything is going
on track. Shooting is currently on in Alsisar,
Rajasthan. They will complete it today and
tomorrow onwards, filming will start in
Bikaner where it will continue until the end
of this month. With this, the movie's shoot
will also be wrapped up. There is ample time
for post-production."
On the other hand, Rajkummar is busy
shooting for Stree which is a horror
comedy. The movie is being directed by
Amar Kaushik and is written by Raj
Nidimoru and Krishna DK. Shraddha and Raj
shot for a portion of the movie in Madhya
Pradesh last month.
