Why so much negativity for Mrinal in this forum?

Seriously, I see a post every 2 days calling Mrinal selfish, opportunistic, black and what not. And if I say something their favourites I get some detailed explanations. If someone can't hear anything against their favourites then they don't have right to say anything against any other characters. This forum already very barren which a good show forum don't deserve and on top of that I get to see negative posts so often. If Mrinal was a man there would be no such posts. I am not being some feminist here but it's the fact which happens everywhere. At least I don't see any post here saying 'Mrinal looks hot while making evil plans', 'Mrinal looks sexy while murdering people', 'Mrinal's hatred for Prithvi was so hot and passionate' and so on. There is nothing wrong in saying our opinions but then have the guts to listen to the flaws of their own favourites instead of shutting others up with their explanations. No wonder why the makers included imaginary bad past of Mrinal instead of showing her like in novel and movies. Agar aisa hota to tab to aur bhi jyaada problems hota tha. Mrinal is not shown as an inspiration or glorified here in any way. The makers are just showing how it used to be during those days. We can't tell the makers of Gane Of Thrones to don't show the abuse and violence. Because that's how used to be the reality of wars and it's aftermath. Game Of Thrones is not glorified in any way. Not everyone princess can be shown as Jodha or Dharma. I am sure they too were not as positive ad shown in TV shows. The female lead character in my below signature was not a grey character to many of us but the things she did would look grey for some people. Coming to the end of the post, I have not justified Mrinal in even a single sentence in this post so I hope I am not branded as feminist (which is not a bad thing by the way) here.

Hey I was the one who gave detailed exaplanation about panchali and mrinal, so I think I have every right to say here, I don't know y u think there's negativity about mrinal here, at least I don't have negative thoughts about her, neither I said she's black, when I read the topic I felt my thoughts r somewhat similar to thread maker, and when I read TM and ur discussions regarding panchali I thought to put my sents here which I have every rt as forum s for discussions and some healthy debates, u said what u felt about panchali and mrinal , which i respect them because it's ur pov, i said what I know about panchali and felt about mrinal which s mine, everyone can't see characters on same level, some people see them from their pov, which leads different opinions and debates, I felt mrinal characterisation bit differently that doesn't mean I hate her and all, its different for u it's different for others, it was just cobstrutive characterisation and healthy debate, about panchali I said what I read about her, if u have different opinion about her it's fyn to me, u r welcome to have ur opinion on her, at the end ur pov, ur thoughts and wish. And about favorites and should have the guts to accept flaws, let's not go to guts issues for tv characters, this s not needed anyway I have the guts to accept ur opinion on someone whom I admire and ll respect that because it's ur opinion, when I stated my opinion after reading u people discussions I thought it's going to be some healthy bebate, that's it didn't post that for any negativity. It was just my opinion and thoughts about mrinal character.

^^^As I said I did not said a single line praising Mrinal. Neither I saw anyone else praising Mrinal. We all discussed in lengths on why Mrinal is shown like this, why she us right or wrong, what else should she do, how she is right in her place and how she is not justified. But I said a line about Panchaali's flaws and I get a big lecture for it. Why different views for others? I don't know whom I should hate or not because the show is actually different but I don't blindly ove anything done by the characters but just watching whi is doing what. Yes you have rights to place your views but giving lectures if talking about another character whether they are Gods or Aliens or whatever is double standard. Right? You can check my all the posts where in none of the posts I have justified Mrinal's doings. In this show, every character is wrong in some way or other even Munj himself. This is like some kind of International show where you just watch the show and not necessarily live any character😊.

Neither I lectured u, neither I said u r justifying mrinal character, and I am saying again if u find any flwas about panchali r anyone u can have I don't mind that, I said this already, I only stated my opinion about both , I don't know y u think I am lecturing u and all, I stated my opinion there that doesn't mean any lecture and all, y u think it's lecture?, u mentioned guts and all should I take this in another manner, not needed rt, it wasn't any lecture just opinion..

I don't mind the show r characters r anything but people 'll definitely have different opinion, even if they love the show, show s definitely unique and amazing than others , I enjoy the show, even I like characters even only to certain point but if people feel differently about characters they can state their opinions.

Juhi dear I am really loving the Character of Mrinal and conviction with which she is playing the character is commendable as she has made people realized the weakness of human nature with a gray shade over powering. Even I like the fight scenes and her passionate hatred for Prithvi which has a valid reason ... I feel people who have actually read about PV and Mrinal are comparing so there might be a difference of opinion

As i said elsewhere, mrinal is a good princess for her people and a terrible enemy for her opponents. So what you see in her depends on whom you support. For a person from her kingdom she would be a angel and for a person from opposite side she would be a villian.

We can not stop anyone from having a POV. Mrinal is a grey character, few of her actions can be justified, few can't be justified. Few ppl may connect to her, few may not...

That's the beauty of a grey/flawed character.

She has many good qualities as well. N we do discuss them in ATs.

And u might not have seen positive posts regarding Mrinal.

Just the negative ones caught your attention

Not only Sonarika, but Mrinal as a character has been praised a lot in the forum because she is a strong FL character 😃

We even praise Mrinal in Prithvi's AT 😊

Infact our forum is one of the most peaceful forums :)
