So if we go by the trailer then their story started in Feb. But technically no school in India starts its new term in Feb, so no new admissions will happen. Feb-Mar is the time for final exams for maximum schools.

Now the makers are still going according to that silly promo blooper. So they met in Feb, bet started in March, rishta happened around April-May and hence shaadi after 9 months in Jan.

So the root cause is the promo blooper 😆

Then what about all those cloudy days which we see in the start itself ...oh and their first Mandir scene is in Shravan mahina...shravan is usually in July-Aug ...bet had just started ...after that Pooja's engagement happened which must be in Sept...still timelines are a mess 😆

In 1990s the academic year used to be from feb to feb...Esp for state boards...

Though the whole school session started in Feb for all classes...11th standard had a late start in april coz of their 10th board exams... Hence we see sameer joining pragati a month or two late in early June coz the storyline definitely takes off after the summer vacations wen the board results were declared and naina topped.

The whole process of naina falling for sameer starts in june

We need to remember that ahmedabad is not a metropolis city...So during those days...Movies used to release in big cities like delhi and bombay first...And then release a few weeks later in the smaller cities...

So if dil released in June... It released atleast a month or two later in ahmedabad...

If u guys rem ... Swati mentioned the kiss in dil during the initial phase of the bet...So that can be put in for July..

Mount abu was just after diwali... Coz they kept on mentioning sardi in mount abu...

I fully agree with this. That 9 month mention was very deliberate and planned. It's if preparation for farewell track.. I was so happy that they mentioned it.. only blooper I get was it's 1991 n not 1990 according to movies n all.. otherwise it looks correct to me.
