Saw an earlier Koffee with Karan interview with Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh where he revealed that he initially thought Ranveer and Anushka were very ugly and even asked Yash chopra why he cast them..

I bet if they hadn't become so famous, he would be like I told you so..

There are hundreds of people in this forum who said the same thing. So Kjo's shallowness is quite common. He was just doing what he knows. This industry is all about looks and then talent. Ranveer has been hundred times rejected for the same reason. The good thing is Kjo admitted what he thought and that only highlighted how talented Ranveer must be that despite his not so good looking face, Kjo ( a close friend of Aditya Chopra) rejecting him, he still got the lead role in YRF.
