8.Gun is about the daughter of a software engineer who has stumbled upon something big. Her mother mysteriously dies in a plane crash after having developed some special program on behalf the state. Foreign intelligence experts, aware of the program, want to seize it. After her mother dies, her daughter takes it into her own hands to investigate the suspicious death.

I have a baby.I have a husband who stands besides me always. This ( not sure if she means the baby) will be a huge surprise for both my husband and my mother. My mother is a very strong and independent woman. she just signed with Turkey's biggest project. Whether she's ready to be a grandmother or not? Believe me, I don't even know.

From the looks of it, a very happy life awaits me in the future. I think nothing should spoil that.

First Look-

He is told he is very sick. He asks what is wrong and is told he has cancer. He says he thought he had a cold.

Tells the guy he needs money and asks him for a job. They guy basically says he's too old for the job and won;t be able to pull it off.

He says he can do it. He just needs to be told who he needs to get rid of.

Then we hear the man telling the security guys they're to stay close to Sehnaz, the software engineer. Her safety goes before anything else.

He's told he will be taking care of the job that night. He tells himself, here you are.

My two cents (rather wish) for this drama to unfold,

A scientist prepares the secret code for the country and disappears mysteriously and widely acknowledged as killed in a plane crash. Her daughter begins a run to a truth marathon. Scientist's estranged husband (Musa) ( who was professionally a failure) learns about his wife's fate. His search to reunite with his family begins...

A taxi driver (Bugra) who drops the scientist to the airport, realizes that his passenger has left behind a baggage. He inquisitively probes to realize the content of the baggage (secret code) etc and begins to rescue the scientist.

The 3 arcs...coincide for a big bang (in 8 days) where the pisliks will unite in a non-linear narration.

Let it be a mini-series of 20 episodes.

OMG!! Finally

I came here today to post these teasers in the FG DT for everyone to see, and the first thing I saw was a 8 Gun DT 🥳🥳

I like the kick-assy feel the show's giving me, @Shano- Looks like our wish is about to come true!! 😆

I too hope the show has a tight script. Instead of stretching the plot just to milk TRPs, they should focus on giving us a good show 😛

Hmmm so Bugra again does not have a positive character here, or so it seems...And are they killing the husband in the very beginning...?? Any English translation for this one?

Yup finished it and enjoyed it too, for most parts at least.

But I guess my likeness was mostly about Ferit and Bulut 😆. I liked NazFer and Nazli was cute too, but she way too naive half the times. Sometimes it felt like her character took inspiration from Indian TV Characters 😆😆. I guess its a popular theme among Turkish shows to make the men suffer more than the women 🤣

So my verdict, I liked the show but I would've enjoyed it more if Nazli was a little more sensible 😳
