Rajan Shahi, producer and series director of Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai, was forced to device a way to curb indiscipline among actors who have committed breach of contract, not with him but with another production house! On learning that two actors on his show were already committed with another production house he not only replaced them, but made it mandatory for all other actors to produce an NOC from other production houses before starting work with him.

Shahi who turned producer with Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai, discovered that the lead actor of the show Avinash Sachdev was under contract with Balaji while actress Naveena's dates were clashing with another production house. "When we signed him Avinash assured me that his contract with Balaji was ending on February 2. But we found out that he was lying, and just a day before the shoot we found out that his contract with Balaji was still on. I had no choice but to replace him. That cancellation cost me huge money and time."

Likewise, actress Naveena stated that she was free to shoot for 30 days at a stretch, but when she started reporting late to work, the producer found out that she was shooting for another show as well. "When I confronted her she gave in and told me that she had lied to me because she wanted to act in this show. I had to replace her too."

Avinash has been replaced by Angad Hasija and Naveena has been replaced by Shabana Mulani.

As result of this Rajan made it mandatory for all actors to produce an NOC (no objection certificate) establishing that they are free to do his show and commit the required dates. Shahi says, "I have made a company policy that all actors will have to give an NOC with details of the contracts with any other production house, to avoid clashing of dates. Actors cannot manipulate and create differences between production houses. I have told my entire unit that nothing is more important than the show."

Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai also stars Alok Nath, Seema Kapoor, Avinash Wadhawan, Preeti Puri, Ali Raza, Natasha Raina and Vibha Chibb.

Who do they play in Bidaai? Avinash and Naveena???

avinash sachdev is the actor from khwaish from sony.He plays Salman in that serial but never seen in Bidaai I don't know who Naveena is 😕

^Yea, Avinash Sachdev plays Salman in Kwahish(This is a K-show which wud explain that hes acting in the Balaji camp right now). Its possible he was 1st chosen for the role of Alekh, but after finding out abt this, they chose Angad instead. And they did say they never got to shooting.

Wonder who Naveena is, and who Shabana Mulani is. Looks like Naveena never got a chance to shoot either, so Shabana is acting in the show right now. Cud it be Gauri? Dont think its Ambika or anyone else from Bidaai.
