Do you think he will become superstar if he do ipkknd show as movie.. coz ipkknd was hit than balika vadhu..IPL cricket... qubool hai... diya aur baati... saathiya...yeh rishta etc... that show made Hindi TV serials to get recognised ... and all this is possible with the machi man barun sobti... so what do you think...

As far as I know Barun, that is not what he aspires to be. If he wants to be a superstar he'll have to do commercial big banner movies but he seems to be more inclined towards content movies like Tu Hai Mera Sunday. In my honest opinion, he is talented and has chances to shine in Bollywood.

P.S. IPKKND is majorly overrated. I enjoyed Tanhaiyan far more than any of the IPKKND seasons.

but movies like pad man.. dangal are getting hit but why not tu hai mera Sunday.. ipkkd in movie will surely become hit

Tu Hai Mera Sunday is a small-budget movie and has had no buzz, barring the fact that it received a lot of critical acclaim.

IPKKND was popular at its time. Doubt it would work in currenr times. It doesn't have a solid story and plot to be made into a film.

LOL what does Barun have to do with IPL cricket and qubool hai and the other shows mentioned? As much as I like him, he seems lazy about his work/doesnt seem to be ambitious and he doesnt make the best decisions career wise- IPK3, Main aur mr right (so bad). Hope he does something good and exciting next though!

You did watch Dangal ? It had female empowerment in a patriarchal society. Padman is based on a social message. I must have missed the social message in the push-pull-eye lock romance of IPKKND. 😳
