Cutting Out

Does anyone know why Star Plus USA cuts out some parts from Yeh Hai Mohhabatein? The part where Romi strangled Mihika was cut out fully and went straight to Raman slapping Romi. Does anyone know the reason for this? Way worse things are shown on American TV than this.

Most likely. But many times Star Plus, in many shows cuts out ''violent'' or even romance scenes.
