Chapter 7

In Prem's office

After entering the office, Prem told Heer took a sit. Heer was feeling very anxious; she did not know what Prem would ask her.

She did not know would she able to answer his questions correctly. Heer knew that the completely rented love thing would be a difficult thing for her. She was a hard working person and deceiving people in the name of love was not a characteristic of her.

However, besides that, what Heer afraid more was that, the possibility of her actually falling for Prem. She was already felt impressed when she heard about Prem from Daljeet even before meeting him.

Heer was impressed how Prem lead a life with self-respect and dignity. He did not compromise his self-respect for financial comfort.

His love for his late mother and his bond with his younger brother really made Heer to respect more as a person since she also valued so much about family.

As a graduate of economics Heer was fascinated by the fact how two brothers build a company literally out of nothing, it really was a reflection of creativity and geniuses of Juneja brothers.

Heer was getting a feeling that, one of the main reasons of Juneja brother's business success was their ability to motivate people to do their job correctly.

They motivated people by creating a friendly healthy working environment in the working place; Heer got a feeling that Juneja brothers had a genuine care and compassion for their employees.

Unlike some of the other business owner who in the hunger of earning more profit regularly exploited their workers Prem and Preet valued their employee's dedication to their company.

In addition of that, Heer had found Prem as an extremely handsome man, she felt an unknown attraction towards him in their first meeting. Heer was little surprised by the fact that, how she found herself lost when she heard his voice, she looked at her handsome face and eyes.

Prem Juneja was an ideal man; he had every quality that a girl could think for her future husband.

She knew she should try to control her emotion but human heart could not be controlled easily by anyone.

Heer got back herself into earth when she felt Prem was saying something to her.

"Ms.Heer Maan, aapka educational qualifications to bahut acchi hein, mujhe to ye baat se aschari ho rahi hein ki aaj se pahele kisi bhi company mein kam nahi ki, aap ke score se to se lagta hein aapko company ki finance ki acchi samaj hein, aap PS ke liye kyun apply kya, aap to aur bhi upar ki post ke liye apply kar sakte thein?" Prem asked Heer in a surprised voice.

Heer felt little blushed that, Prem was praising her.Heer realized that, Prem had a different prespective as a company owner.

" Sir, mere kutch personal responsibilities the jis liye mere liye kisi bhi company mein apply karni mushkil the, upar se har badi company mein naukri ke liye experience ya reference chahati hein jo meri pass nahi the, aur ye meri paheli job hein iss liye mujhe lagi mujhe kutch experience juta leni chahiye kisi aur post mein apply karne se pehele. Aur mujhe lagti hein kisi bhi kaam chota nahi hoti. "Heer replied

Prem liked thet fact that, Heer answered his questions so confidently and logically.

"Sahi kaha aapne, har ek kam ka apna importance hein. Aap to jante hein aapka kam subha 9 baje shuru hogi, aap mujhe uss waqt mera sare din ki schedule batayenge aur readjust karengi. Aap ko mera sara business document haat mein rakhne paregi, aap ko mere saat kutch business meeting aur business lunch mein jana padega, aur aapki room uha par hein"Prem indicated the adjacent room in the left of his office room while saying that.

" Mein sab kutch samaj gayi sir." Heer noded.

" Thick hein, aab aapko hume kutch information deni padegi, jisse hum hamate employrr data base include kar sake." Prem informed her.

Heer smiled nervously after hearing that, but at the same time she could feel Prem had take an interest on her.

" Jarur sir, puchiye."Heer told Prem

"Aapki pariwar mein kaun kaun hein, ye mein isliye puch raha hu kyunki hamare ek employee health trust hein jise mein hum company ki profit ka 5% deta hu, Agar aapki koi family member ka koi health problem hein aap iss trust se arthik madat le sakti hein. iss ke baad bhi aap iss trust se loan le sakti hein jo aap aapki monthly salary se chuka sakti hein, loan mein koi interest nahi hein." Prem told her.

Heer was very much impressed after hearing that, she realized that, her respect for Prem as a person had increase more after learning how much Prem cared for his employees.

He is truly a compassionate man. Many businesses owner's just treat their employees as a simple tool for earning higher profit. However, Prem again showed to her that he was exception; he really cared about welfare of the employees of the company.

" Ji meri dadi hein, ek bada bhai hein, aur Meher ko to aap jante hein honge." Heer replied.

"Bahut accha laga sunke, kya aap ki koi mangitar hein?" Prem asked Heer.

Pren was getting very anxious to know the answer of that question and he was hoping to hear no as the answer of that question.

Heer was obviously stunned after hearing that kind of question. Nevertheless, at the same time Heer could detect slight nervousness in Prem's voice when he asked the question. She could say from looking at Prem's face that he was hoping for hearing no as an answer.

Suddenly Heer felt butterflies in her stomach. Heer realized that, Prem also felt something for her. Heer felt a unknown relief in her whole body after knowing that, her attraction to Prem was not one sided.

"Nahi." Heer replied.

If Heer was not present there Prem would surely raised his fist in the air and shouted yes to express his happiness after hearing such kind of news.

" Mujhe galat maat samjhiye, mein iss liye aapse ye baat puchi kynki hamare company mein ek family festival fund hein jaha par hum aapne company ka profit ka 5% dete hein. Iss fund se employees khud ki, ya uski karibi rishtedar ki shaddI ya janamdin, marriage anniversary ya kisi aur family festival ke liye financial help le sakti hein, magar aap ko iss ke liye ek mahine pahele hamare fund committee ko informed karne hogi." Prem told Heer.

" Aap chinta maat ki jiye sir mein aapko kabhi galat nahi samjoongi" Heer replied.

In Preet office

Meher was feeling nervous when she was alone in the room with Preet. Whenever she looked at the handsome face of Preet Juneja, she blushed slightly. There was something special in Preet, which was pulling her to him.

Meher realized that Preet was a geniune person. According to Meher , Preet looking like a prince of her dream. Preet lived his life without comprising without his principle.

After becoming orphan in teenage Preet did not let himself destroyed, he took tougher option. Despite being a grandson of one of the richest person of India, he and his brother choose to do hard work as they had self-respect and loved their mother.

Meher was also impressed when she thought about how just after graduating Preet along with his brother had established a business company and at the same time, he had compassion for the employees.

When she looked at Preet she saw naughtiness in his eyes but at the same time she knew there were some pain in Preet.

She wanted to heal all of his pain but she knew she could not do that. She could not let herself fall for Preet as she knew if that happen her life would become complicated due to completely rented love thing.

However, when love called you, you could not resist it easily.

After telling, her to take a sit Preet informed her about her duties as his PS.

Meher was also surprised when Preet asked her about having a finance or not.

When Merher answered no, she saw relief in Preet's face and that also made her realize that, Preet was also feeling attraction towards her.

Meher could not describe how much happiness she felt when that realization came to her.

Her mind was warning her from falling for Preet but after realizing Preet also felt something for her, she felt that her heart was winning the race against her mind.

" Meher ji aap ko coffee pasand hein? " Preet asked

" Ha." A surprised Meher replied.

" Thick hein meine issliye pucha kyunki kal mujhe aur Prem bhaiya ka ek client se business meeting hein,hamari client ko coffee pasand hein. Kyunki aap meri PS hein iss liye aap ko uha rehena padegi iss liye meine pucha."Preet nervously told her.

"Thick hein sir."Meher told Preet.

After Meher leaving the office, Preet shouted yes under his breath.

Wow, it would be so exciting Preet thought. He now had to tell his Prem bhaiya about his plan. If everything went according to his plan then tomorrow Juneja brothers would take Maan sisters into a double date in a certain coffee shop.

The story is moving along nicely Shuridh...for me personally this chapter was an easier read because of more English and less Hindi.

I really admired Heer's answers to Prem's questions.

Nice company the 2 brothers have set up. Good bosses who create a healthy work environment will have happy and productive employees. 👍🏼
