This is a rant post; I did not mean to degrade anyone. My rant is to cvs and characters. And I know about the obsession cvs have with certain character and they are ignoring the rest but I need to rant so I am ranting, so no need to tell me what I already know. Do not come here to bash. If you want to rant then do it here. And remember every character has traits and faults along with something which is good and that's what makes them iconic, therefore no need to take a dig.

Dadi
Along with her weird fascination with ishqbaazi and related dialogues, she is also guilty of hypocrisy which she passed on to her children and their children. She wasn't satisfied with just that; she preached it to her bahus and then their bahus as well.
She sent her nephew out of the house because the said nephew raised his voice against her son, not even bothering about what will happen to her nephew (whom she claimed to love as her own) and his family.
She sent her daughter to jail for stealing but she looked at opposite direction when her son was committing adultery.
She knew the relationship between her eldest son and his wife has become toxic which is affecting to her grand-children but still she preached about family and unity.
She is the reason Shivay has misconception about family and togetherness.
Tej
Ab iske baare mai kya boloon
He falls in love with his best-friends fiance, she runs away from her own wedding. But what he does? He keeps a mistress on the side. The person who only gave birth thinks that it is the greatest thing ever done in human history and so he should be given noble prize as well complete control over his children and their wives as well.
Does not care a little bit for his family yet wants to be the head of the family. Tries to kill his wife and children but still expect them to accept his authority. Extremely jealous of Shivay and tries to break brothers apart regularly but still has the guts utter that he never came in between the brothers. (God if I ever get the chance I will feed him to kali's crocodiles).
Jhanvi
The most selfish character in the show. She is not addicted to alcohol she is addicted to her husband. That(i used a different word but changed later on) woman who hid behind her son who destroyed himself for her and her happiness yet did not give a damn about his feelings.
People who says that she sacrificed her son's nkk for Shivay, please Om was her only support system at that time and she is aware of Shivay's importance in Om and Ru's life. If she really cared about Shivay then she would have never supported Annika and the stunt she pulled.
Supporting Gauri is also because she wanted to throw Svetlana out of their life, she would have accepted anyone at that point, it was her good luck that Gauri is Om's wife.
And accepting Annika and Gauri, it no where affected her whom her nephew and son married as long as she could keep her husband. So it wasn't the acceptance it was the don't care' attitude.
Shakti
Running away from your responsibility also makes you a failure, but you never learned that. Just for your kind information dear Shakti ji God will never accept your devotion at the cost of your family which you neglected. Because of this attitude your wife was able to do whatever she wanted, spew venom whenever she wanted. Because of this attitude your son had to grow up before his time. If you had accepted Annika when it was necessary may be her insecurity about being an outsider would have faded a bit and she would not have been blackmailed by your wife that easily.
You could have left the house taking your mother along with you but you decided to stay with the person who threw your son out of his own house. Bravo Shakti bravo
Pinky
Seriously decide what exactly you want; Money, power or your son and his happiness? Your son was right about you, nothing matters to you other than being an Oberoi. Why are you so insecure about your daughter in law? If she was not there your son would have been the victim of Kapoors and he would have died. But no rationality escapes you completely isn't it?
And what is your problem with your nephews? Ok Om I can understand. You see him as your sons competitor but what did Rudra do? Why he is in receiving end of your bitterness? Is it because your son loves them more? Then you should have concentrated on your sons happiness than moulding him the as money making machine.
Shivay
When the hell will you realize that family which is emotionally broken cannot be mended forcefully? Keeping them together will increase the bitterness and sometime letting go is the better option.
For the love of everything share your problems. By not doing so you are putting your wife and brothers at risk. Because they are blindly following you to wherever you are going and there is nothing more dangerous than that.

Why why? Seriously why? You are supposed to be the sensible one. Being an addict yourself why have you not recognized the addiction your mother has toward your father? Why did you have to fuel it damn it?
You know that problems can be solved by talking but what you do? You keep everything inside and let everyone else keep everything inside as well. You know that your father tried to kill you and your mother, rather than sending him to jail or even better mental asylum to his aunt you let him stay at home and you let him throw temper tantrums.

You know I get why you are ok with not working, I really do. I mean you had to work day and night before and take responsibility of your brother and bandari bua. So you are enjoying the financial freedom and stability you have now. And I know that financially depending on your husband doesn't make you any less equal to him. But my question is what exactly you the whole day. I mean come on; you are a bundle of energy. Michmichi nahi hoti when you can't spend that energy?
Gauri
Itna accha shatir brain hai tere pas. Atrangi ideas banana mai bilkul apne behen pe gayi ho. But the difference between you and your sister is your grey shade. That is what I loved the most about you. You are the one who gave omru idea of blackmailing Pinky into letting Annika stay in the house. Ab kya hua? Dekho beta, omru se kuch na hopayega. Sirf tujhse ummeed hai. Indirectly tej and Jhanvi ki band sirf tum baja sakti ho (it's for their own good I say). Please kuch toh karo Gauri kumara sarma.
Bhavya
You were the acp once upon a time remember (I think you forgot). I know that you spent lot of time catching sultan(a) (cough*unsuccessfully*cough). But you are trained; can't you find something about svetty and throw her to jail? Everyone knows that sari fasaf ki jad woh hai phir bhi. Trying is the first step dearie. You should do it.
Ps: As I said completely rant post. I am extremely sorry if any of you are hurt because of it.
Pps:I was busy with college and assignments for few days, only used to come to forum for 5-10 min now and then. Sorry could not participate in some of discussions.
