Madhu woke up gasping for air in the middle of the night. Pulling down the blankets. She sat up on the bed. Her whole body was drenched in hold sweat. She put her hand on her heart trying to calm it down. It was beating for a race. After few minutes, when she calmed down completely. She passed her hand through her hair and thank aloud

"What was that? I never had this kind of dreams. And for a week now I have this dreams almost every night. Since he was sick and I helped him to take a shower. I'm a doctor. I saw many naked bodies before. But why seeing his body affected me like this. I'm very shy to think about the dreams I have every night. What is happening to me? Why I have this dirty thoughts. I never thought of any man like this before. Even when I loved Sultan. I never thought of him in that way. I never dreamed of any man. Now I'm going crazy. The kind of dreams and thoughts in my mind for him is so wild and so crazy. I can't even think about it in my mind. Why is that? Now I can't even look at him. Every time I see him, I got flashes in my mind with dirty things. I need to stay away from him. Or my mind will explode. I need to get busy with anything else. I can't surrender to those thoughts. I feel ashamed of myself. OK so I will stay away from him and I will get busy in anything else. Now I will go and take shower. I hope I don't have this kind of dreams again. Or I hope to have it. Stop your pervert mind and go and shower"

Next day in hospital

"Dr. Kundra they want you in HR" Nurse

"Ok I will go now" Madhu

Madhu went to HR office

"Hello Dr. Kundra. Do you enjoy working with us?" The HR officer

"Yes it is interesting. It is what I love to do" Madhu

"Ok so now you will start working on heart surgeries" The HR officer

"What? Heart surgeries! Can't I work for any other branch for now?" Madhu

"Why don't you want to work in heart surgeries?" RK who just entered the HR office

"No it is not like that. I just want to save it for the last" Madhu

"It is ok you can work in any branch you want now. I thought you want to be a heart surgeon. So you will be interested more in heart surgery" RK with disappointment tone

"Ok I will start in heart surgeries now. If it is ok with you doctor" Madhu

"Ok as you like. I was coming to take your file with me" RK

At noon

Madhu brought lunch to her husband in his office. She used to bring lunch to him from home since his food poison incident and they both have lunch together everyday

"RK here is your lunch" Madhu

"My lunch? Aren't you having your lunch with me?" RK

"No you eat I will eat later. I have some work to do" Madhu

"What work?" RK irritated

"Some patients" Madhu

"I need to talk with you. Will you please close the door" RK

Madhu got out of the office and closed the door behind her. She was going away from the office but she stopped hearing her husband calling her

"Dr. Kundra. Will you please come to my office" RK

Madhu turned back and saw him standing on his office's doorstep holding the door open to let her enter. She nodded her head and entered his office

"Why did you leave?" RK confused

"You said close the door" Madhu

"I told you we need to talk and asked you to close the door so we can talk" RK

"Sorry. I didn't hear you clearly" Madhu

"Will you please sit down so we can talk" RK pointing at the chair facing his disk for her to sit. Madhu sat down and looked at him waiting for him to say what he wants to say

RK's POV

"Will you please tell me what is wrong with you?" RK

"Nothing" Madhu

"You are behaving wired lately. Is there any problem? Are you Ok? Do you have any health problem? Madhu I'm asking you questions" RK

"Huh" Madhu

"OMG. Most of the times you are absentminded. Sometimes you stare at me and when I look at you, you look away. When I talk to you, you look anywhere but me. You try to avoid me most of the time. Are we ok" RK

Madhu hummed nodding her head as yes

"If you want to say anything to me please do. You know you can share anything with me. I hope you consider me as your friend. Aren't we at least friends" RK

Madhu shacked her head as no. RK got hurt with her answer

"You are my husband" Madhu breathed the words as whisper

"Please if you have any problem please tell me. You are making me worry. Will you tell me why you behaving like this?" RK

"When I know I will tell you" Madhu

"What do you mean?" RK confused

"I don't know. May I go?" Madhu

"Ok as you like. You can go do your job" RK

She left his office

Madhu's POV

"Will you please tell me what is wrong with you?" RK

"Nothing" Madhu

Madhu thinking in her mind

"OMG he is so handsome. His eyes says millions of words. His libs are perfect. But he is talking to me. I don't know what he is saying but I'm sure it is perfect. Everything in him is perfect" Madhu thinking in her mind

"Madhu I'm asking you questions" RK

"Huh" Madhu

"How I ended with such a man. He is the best husband in this world. He cares for me a lot. He loves me a lot even if he doesn't say it. I feel it in every move he does. He loves my family and consider them his" Madhu thinking in her mind

"Are we ok?" RK

Madhu hummed nodding her head as yes

"How I didn't notice how handsome he is before. And why I see him differently now. I never saw him this way before. He was always Dr. Nightmare then he became Dr. RK. But now I see Rishabh my husband" Madhu thinking in her mind

"Aren't we at least friends" RK

Madhu shacked her head as no. RK got hurt with her answer

"You are my husband" Madhu breathed the words as whisper

"OMG this perfect man is my husband. This handsome, successful, caring. Loving. And responsible man is my husband. He is mine only. And I'm his. I'm the luckiest girl in this world" Madhu thinking in her mind

"Will you tell me why you behaving like this?" RK

"When I know I will tell you" Madhu

"What do you mean?" RK confused

"I don't know. May I go?" Madhu

"Ok as you like. You can go do your job" RK

She left his office

After Madhu left RK picked up his mobile and dialed a number

"Hello my dear son" Padmini

"Hello my lovely mother. How are you?" RK

"I'm fine dear. Tell me how are you? And how is Madhu? Tell her that I'm very angry from her" Padmini

"Why Ma?" RK

"She doesn't call me or come to see me ever. She forgot all about her family when she married you" Padmini

"Please Mom don't be upset from her. She is just very busy with the internship. You know how hard working your daughter is. She trying to prove that she is the best doctor in this world" RK

"I will forgive her for your sake only. But I will not talk to her" Padmini

"No please mom. I called you to talk to her" RK

"What is it RK. I feel you are not ok. Is Madhu ok? Why you want me to call her?" Padmini

"I don't know mom. She is weird lately. I tried to talk to her but she didn't say anything" RK

"You made me worry. What is wrong with her?" Padmini

"Don't worry. She is in good shape. She just absentminded most of the time. Sometimes I see her smiling for nothing. Sometimes she talks with no one. She stares at me and look away when I look at her. She avoid any eye contact with me. She doesn't eat well. I don't know what is happening to her" RK tells his mother in-law everything about her daughter

"Don't worry I will call her and see what is wrong with her. I'm sure she is ok" Padmini smiling

"I hope so mom" RK

"Ok son bye now I will call her right now ok?" Padmini

"Ok mom. If there is any problem Please tell me" RK

"I will tell you if there is a problem but I'm sure there is not" Padmini

"Ok mom thank you so much. Bye take care" RK

"Bye darling" Padmini

After few seconds Madhu's mobile rang

"Hello ma how are you?" Madhu

"I'm angry with you. And I didn't want to talk to you" Padmini faking anger

"Why mom? Madhu

"You never call or come to see us. You forgot us totally" Padmini

"No mom don't say that. I'm just busy here in the hospital most of the day" Madhu

"Your husband defended you saying the same excuse" Padmini

"So you believe me now" Madhu

"Ok. You are forgiven for his sake only" Padmini

"Just for his sake. Not for your daughter's sake" Madhu faking sad

"Yes he is my dearest son now. He cares for us more than you do. He loves us more than you do" Padmini

"No mom don't say that. Sure I love you and care for you" Madhu

"Well I called you talk to you about something" Padmini

"I'm listening" Madhu concerned

"Rishabh told me you are behaving weird. Are you ok?" Padmini

"Honestly I don't know" Madhu

"What is the wrong dear?" Padmini

"I feel that I'm going crazy" Madhu

"Why? What happened?" Padmini worry

"Nothing happened. But I can't stop thinking about him. He is in my head all the day and even in my dreams at nights" Madhu

"Who? Rishabh?" Padmini

"Who else would be? Your dearest son" Madhu

"I knew it" Padmini

"What do you mean?" Madhu

"I knew you will love him. But I never thought it will be that soon" Padmini

"Love? I don't know if that love or not. But my eyes can't get enough from him. My heart beats fast when I hear his voice. His image in my head 24/7. I can't focus in anything else. I think about him all the time. I don't know if that is love or not. But I never felt this before. I never lived this happiness before" Madhu

"I'm very happy for you both Madhu. You must tell him. I'm sure he will be very happy" Padmini

"I don't know mom. I need to be sure, of my feeling first. I can't hurt him again" Madhu

"What do you mean? Hurt him again?" Padmini

"Nothing mom. But he knows that I didn't love him before" Madhu

"Oh" Padmini feels something fishy in her daughter words

"Mom I have to go now" Madhu

"Ok dear take care. Love you" Padmini

"Love you too mom" Madhu then she hang up the call with her mother and started to think about her mother's words

"Do I love Rishabh?" Madhu asked herself in her mind

She came out of her thoughts when a nurse told her that Dr. RK wants her in conference room. She entered the room and saw RK talking with some doctors about patient's condition. She took an empty seat close to him

"This patient is a VIP. He is a football player. If anything wrong happened with his heart, he won't be able to play. We need to hide this from media. If they know, we will find the hospital full of reporters and we will not able to work in peace. Any mistake not allowed. Even the smallest one. Not for him or any other patient. We need you all to concentrate and focus well. We are deciding man's life here" RK

Everyone in the room nodded their heads approving his orders but one did nothing or said nothing, his wife

"Dr. Kundra. The patient's scans please" RK talking to Madhu

"Dr. Kundra" RK calling her when she didn't reply him

"I love you" Madhu said the magic words not caring for anything or anyone there in the room with them

all the time Madhu is thinking about Rk even in sleep too,she realized how lucky she is to get husband like Rk,
finally w/o any hesitation she accepted him as her husband and thinking he is completely hers only,
Rk too noticed the change in her and confronted her,
liked Madhu's pov,
liked Rk-padmini phone convo,Padmini-Madhu convo,
Padmini is so happy that her daughter is in love with Rk but at the same time she felt sth fishy when Madhu said she hurt him,
Madhu is totally lost in Rk unexpectedly said ilu,
just hope Madhu doesn't hurt Rk again with her words and behavior,
